A great doctor. He referred me to a great spine surgeon. When I had my surgery, Dr Rauchwerger came by to make sure to make sure I was ok. Thanks to him, I’m able to walk again.

I noticed Dr. Rauchwerger has either 5 star or 1 star ratings so that made me somewhat leary. I went to him for a consult and even though he didn't take me on as a patient he referred me to someone that could help me, and was able to get that appt quickly with his reference. He is methodical and does not want to dive into your whole background right away. He inputs your information into the computer so goes in a certain order and might stop you, saying "We'll get to that later." Then after getting that info he will answer any questions and so on. I found him to be very nice, professional, and personable. So after you read all the comments, know that he is not rude and arrogant, he just has a system that some folks aren't used to. I would definitely go back to him if needed. He was very helpful and after months of searching for a new pain management doctor, even though he couldn't treat me he made me feel confident that this other doctor will be able to help. THIS OFFICE AND DR RAUCHWERGER IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME: First of all the office looks like it hasn't been updated since the 1950's which does not instill confidence in a patient. I was in severe pain from a herniated disc and spent 15 minutes filling out the iPad info at the front desk with the same info I filled out at home when I received their "new patient" email. Dr Rauchwerger defines what it means to be an excellent Doctor. Kind caring compassionate and expert in his abilities. I was having severe back pain. He had me come in right away and saw me immediately. He took the time to explain my condition and offer me treatment. He gave me a few injections some medications and I am completely cured. He made sure to follow up with me to make sure I was Ok which to me shows how much he cares. have sent him several people since and all are very happy

Dr. Rauchwerger is the worst. He doesn't listen to his patients. He always cuts you off as your talking. He's always in speed mode, so he's not really paying attention. According to him after doing any kind of procedure, your pain should be gone. Mine never did. He kept trying to convince me that I wasn't in pain. He always has an attitude of he's always right no matter what. Long wait time too. He's not worth your time.Trust me

I have been seeing Dr. Rauchwerger for about a year now and found him to be honest and reliable. He's kind and very attentive to my needs and most importantly we've built trust. The trust factor is hard to find in a pain specialist. I saw several pain doctors before seeing Dr. Rauchwerger but didn't find them to have his qualities. He is a well respected doctor in his field and I trust him explicitly.

I am surprised that this Doctor has found a hospital to be affiliated with. He is arrogant and disrespectful, he treats you as if you are an addict and has zero bedside manner. Getting an appointment is easy because he has few patients. I advise you find another doctor to work with.

Will not be returning to this dr. Would not let me explain anything to him, cut me right off. Was there for 2 hrs, total waste of my time. The only plus side is that the staff was very nice and friendly.

Dr. R is very professional and is very focused on his patients his main concern is treating the pain that his patients suffer from.He is ALWAYS there for me and never hesitates to return a phone call.sometimes it might be a little wait but without a doubt it's worth it.
