Only one is listed for Dr. McMillin on Weisgarber Road so go there and arrive on time only to find out he is in the Farragut office. They call the Farragut office about me showing up at Weisgarber Road. They check with doc and he has to leave early today. So must reschedule. I was nervous at 1st but I just happened to pick doctor McMillan and after meeting him he was awesome. He came into the office introduced himself shook your hand he listen to you he snswered your questions he maid sure you understood everything . He didn't treat you like most doctors you're not just a number you're a person with doctor Jake mcmillin I wouldn't go to anybody else. he did my right eye cataract surgery and now hes fixing to do my left eye I won't allow anybody else to touch my eyes if I ever need anything else he will be the doctor I see and I want to give a shout out to his wonderful staff miss Tiffany capital T for trouble and then miss Hannah shes a sweetheart as well any questions I had they answered or they"d find it for you top notch in my book I never had in all of all the surgeries I've had done in my life time I never had a doctor call me the day of surgery in ask me if I was OK he is top notch in my book and I will tell everybody I can about him he truly cares about his patients you're not a number with doctor McMillin thank you doctor McMilli and your team because I was a total blur when I come to you now I can see better now than I have in 47 years I can't thank you enough I wish there were more like you thank you and God-bless you in your practice. In June 2019 I developed a small, but painful, rash around my right eye. It appeared to be an allergic reaction, but it was difficult to identify the specific source. After visiting several doctors over the course of six months with the rash still appearing, I made an appointment with Dr. McMillin. He was one of the only doctors I hadn’t seen at the time, and also my last hope before visiting a dermatologist. I wish I had visited Dr. McMillin sooner. He took the time to carefully explain the potential causes of my condition, what it is, and also addressed any questions/concerns I might have. Understanding my frustration, Dr. McMillin was determined to help me maintain this recurring condition. For the first time I was prescribed something that actually seemed to aid the rash around my eye. Following Dr. McMillin’s instructions, the redness, itching, and swelling were almost completely gone within 24 hours. Since then I have continued to have wonderful results. Because this condition appears sporadically, it cannot necessarily be ‘cured’. But thanks to Dr. McMillin and his team, I understand more about my condition and I feel extremely confident in my ability to maintain it. At 14, I was involved in a bicycle accident that injured much of the area around my left eye. Thankfully, my sight was left intact and after numerous reconstructive surgeries, function in this eye had been stable for 30 years. Therefore, it was with some trepidation that I sought out Dr McMillin to help with a pterygium that had developed more recently and was affecting my vision. My concern was finding a care provider with the engagement and expertise to consider all of the history and extenuating circumstances to help develop a thoughtful and comprehensive approach. I am pleased to report that Dr McMillin far exceeded my expectations and I am thrilled with the care that he and his team provided. From pre-op to after-care, everyone was friendly, thoughtful, answered all of our questions, accommodated some unique requests, and helped us to feel confident and cared for throughout the process. I was referred to the practice that Dr. McMillan works with for a badly infected cornea. I seen 2 drs before being scheduled with him and by far he's the best one yet. He's very knowledgeable and has went through hoops in making sure that my potential very serious infection was kept under control and that I was seen at least every 24-48 hours. He made it cheaper and easier for me to get the certain eye drops I needed and we're still on the road to recovery . I highly recommend Dr. McMillan. Dr McMillin has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever been to. My grandfather had to have cataract surgery and was very nervous and his team went out of their way to make him feel comfortable. Dr McMillin even called him to make sure he was doing ok after his surgery. I highly recommend you see him for cataract surgery.
