James Richard Bates

I went for my yearly examination, Dr Bates and his assistant were very Professional they brought me in walked me through all of the steps, offering me the flue shot as well, I must say they were very Organized in there field.

Horrible doctor. He was my parents primary “care” physician for many years. They are now seeing a good doctor that has performed so many tests and had both parents to several specialists to help them with their quality of life. Dr Bates was a non invested medication pushing waste of years. Honestly less than one star.

Dr. Bates and the clinic in Port Orchard have the most appalling patient services I have ever seen. I went in for my blood pressure and he went on to test me for other things completely unrelated. To make it worse though billed for this fraudulent testing there was never a word spoken about any results now more than 90 days. Filed a BBB complaint and it appeared to be settled only to have them try and bill me again today!

I haven't seen Dr. Bates for a few years but recent appointment was like we are old friends. I had a preop appointment and Dr. Bates ran me through everything and I am extremely happy with the outcome. Thanks Dr. Bates

After having a couple of bad doctor experiences in the area, I have found a doctor that I trust. Dr. Bates doesn't waste my time, he doesn't guess about issues and he pays attention to me. He looks for the problem and then talks to me about the best treatments. He gives me a say in my own health. He also doesn't prescribe unnecessary meds and even took me off of two meds that my last doctor had me on. I feel so much better!

Dr. Bates is very professional and very thorough. I appreciate the way he asked questions and how he listened to my answers. I have the utmost confidence that I have found a reliable doctor. I am new to the state of Washington. I feel fortunate that my neighbors recommended Dr Bates. Thank you for accepting me as a patient. ??
