James Marc Cardelia

My son got into an accident and tore both of his knee patella Dr.James Cardelia performed his surgery.. within two months my kid can stand and walk back again...what a great surgeon ..

Dr. C was AMAZING! I do not even understand these other ratings that describe his less than stellar professionalism and compassion. I LOVE how his entire team spoke to my 9-yr-old like she mattered. They spoke to HER and ONLY spoke with me, when they needed to do so. They treated her like she mattered and what she has to say about her pain and issues mattered. They did not speak down to her, either. I also loved how humorous he/they was/were. I can't imagine what kind of day it must have been for anyone to say anything but great things about this man and his team. We saw them twice and they were the same each time. I would recommend ANYONE to him. I even asked him for advice about my own knee situation and he gave me a few words that made me feel better about the treatment I was receiving. I WISH he could be MY ortho, though! Don't believe the negativity. Go and see him for yourself!!! He is the best!

Dr. Cardelia is one of the best surgeons we've ever dealt with. He's compassionate and very reassuring. My daughter and I are very happy with her surgery's results and would recommend dr Cardelia to anyone. His staff is very helpful and he's very accessible.

This man is a joke! DO NOT take your children to him if you care at all about their well-being! "Dr" Cardelia and his "special" assistant Hillary do not care about your or your child. If your child has a serious medical condition, save yourself the time and heartache and skip scheduling with him. If you'd like to see professional Dr's who actually care, go to MCV/ VCU children's pavilion

Dr. Cardelia was very rude. He didn't acknowledge my son when he entered the room and apparently didn't read the chart either saying "Why are you here?" Belittled my concerns as well as my pediatricians. Would never go back. We still have concerns and will need a second opinion.
