Dr. James L Carlisle

Today was my second visit to Dr. Carlisle. My appointment was for 12:00 PM. The doctor finally entered the room at 1:30 PM. During my long wait, no one updated me on why I was sitting in a room for so long. I received no apology from any of the staff, including the doctor. When I was checking out, I was told the doctor wanted to see me in six weeks. I told the staff I would not be coming back.

I love Dr. Carlise I have been seeing him for some years and even if I have to wait it is always worth it he is a wonderful caring dr and his staff are simply amazing the new ones and the ones that have been there for a long time I love them like my family ???? ❤️ you guys are awesome

The office staff is terrible and totally unprofessional. They lecture you if you have a complaint and discharge you from care. Otherwise the Dr. Is nice. I will not be treated like a child by anyone!

Is one of the greatest doctors that I have ever seen and has helped me alot through my problems.

I love Dr. CARLISLE, and his staff. They are always pleasant and friendly. Dr. CARLISLE is never pushy and always ready to help with whatever problems I present. He never pushes treatments or procedures that I am not comfortable with ,while at the same time he attends to my needs. I Would recommend and have recommended his services to family and friends. My mother had the worst experience with this doctor. When she communicated her intentions to find another doctor (something I had encouraged her to do after many occasions of her appointments being canceled with no notice and other times she was left waiting for hours and hours for her appt) she received a certified letter saying THEY were dismissing HER as a patient and listed a litany of complete lies. In a word "Amazing." Dr. Carlisle treats his patients according to the Hippocratic Oath.

Yes you will wait longer than you want to see him BUT Dr. Carlisle listens well and addresses all your concerns. He is not unwilling to send you to other specialists if he thinks it is in your beat interest. In my opinion, he is worth any wait.

Dr. Carslile is ok but always in a hurry, very poor time management skills. His office staff is the most rude group I've ever come across and he defends them. Life is short, go somewhere else.

Hands down the BEST pain management Doctor in the DFW metroplex... Absolutely no need to look any further

if you're looking for a caring compassionate doctor you need to go see the law if you can put up with a wine nurse. I am leaving his office for that reason because of his nurse doctor Carlisle was wonderful doctor the man that referred me to his office has tried to talk to you. Corolla on my behalf about his nurse and nothing is changed so if you can put up with that with his lying nurse with his inability to and get your prescriptions to your Pharmacy and timely manner to where you don't have to make 15-20 phone calls that's one of the reasons why I'm leaving. Dr. Carlisle elephant is a very compassionate doctor he's a very intelligent man he can get to the bottom of your problem and he has gotten to the bottom of mine but I'm leaving because of his nurse I'm leaving because of the lies that she tells

Dr Carlisle is very professional yet friendly, very detail and more important than anything, he is very helpful, passionate and compassionate, and that’s what it takes to be a great doctor!

Time management doctor needed in this office. I drive approximately 2 hours to see the doctor. I had an appointment at 1:15 ,I was taken back to the little room. And at 2:10 the the doctor still hadn't come in. I asked the nurses if he was there yet and was told no. This is the 3rd time this has happened. The office lady couldn't had been more rude. His receptionist has no personality. I asked for a refund for my deductible and said I will find another doctor that shows up for scheduled appointments. Dr. Carlisle and his staff are very professional, polite , and compassionate. After seeing other doctors in the last several months Dr. Carlisle listened to what I had to say and was able to give me answers and options in one visit that no other doctor was really ever able to do. Most of all when I left his office I felt a huge sigh of relief because my wife and I both knew I finally found the right doctor we could trust to care for all my back pain. I've been a patient of Dr. Carlisle for over 3yrs now and I have had a great experience with the staff and Dr. Carlisle. He is always detail oriented, helpful and compassionate. I'm very excited to say that I really love having him as my doctor who has been helping with my pain management. Thank you Lessie.

Dr Carlisle is one of the best drs I know. I have been his patient for 4 years. He is totally awesome and has the sweetest wife. His staff is very helpful and efficient. I would recommend him to any and every person that needs a pain doctor. He has the best bedside manner and listens to you that is a loss art.

Before I moved office I was treated by Dr James Carlisle, he was so professional and friendly at the same time, I always looked for my next visit with him.

After months of searching for a doctor to help my husband we finally struck gold. Thank you Dr. Carlisle for all of the time you spent to review records and collect the facts and also for doing a real exam. That was refreshing and odd considering no other Dr has done any of that. My husband had a smile on his face for the first time in four months and I have you to thank for that. Your staff is amazing and all I can say again is THANK YOU!!!

I am very sorry someone had a bad experience with his staff. I just saw him this week and he has cleaned house. Dr. Carlisle has been my doctor for 3 years. He is awesome. Soft spoken listens carefully and and responds with compassion and expert knowledge. I have never had a problem he has not taken care of quickly and efficiently.

The mandatory drug screen was billed to me 3 months after service. The doctor did not seem skilled in rehabilitation and prescribed many medicines that the pharmacist was very unsure of to treat the ailment.

Always caring and understanding sits and listens to your concerns and very knowledgeable about everything I was concerned with Staff is very Sweet and helpful always.

I've not yet seen Dr. Carlisle, however, it was so refreshing to speak with Yolanda yesterday when setting up my appointment. By the time I reached her I had been on the phone for the better part of the day trying to find a new pain management doctor. Needless to say, I had been treated poorly many times by office staff before coming across Dr. Carlisle's office. The courtesy and prompt call backs were greatly appreciated. I'm looking forward to my visit.

Dr. Carlisle and his staff are top notch. The environment is always caring and upbeat. Ms. LaMeatria even greets me by name when I walk in the door. Dr. Carlisle is a caring physician who takes time to listen to his patients and doesn't rush me through my visit.

Dr. Carlisle has been a true God send, he has really provided me with a treatment plan for my pain as opposed to over medicating me. He takes time with his patients and his new staff is very caring and detailed. I have told everyone I know about him.

Terrible experience. 30 days of medication is allowed and he was refilling my husbands medication days after the 30 day mark leaving him without medication. Wait times are at least 2 hours. Rude and unprofessional experience. Please go somewhere else. Also they made him come in early to change medication then still required him in 2 weeks later for the prescriptions. Office staff dug in my husbands arms 3 times trying to get blood and still couldnt get it.

Wow where to begin? My first experience was horrible. The building is hard to find. The parking is horrible. When I walked into the building,I was glared upon as if I did not belong there. The two receptionist were so unprofessional and rude. She took the clip board from my hands rudely and rolled her eyes at me.After waiting for over 2 hours I was finally pulled back by Dr Carlisle's nurse, who was also rude. She was very unfriendly. After waiting back in the room for another 30 minutes I finally got to see the doctor. He was very friendly but a bit in a hurry. After checking out, I thought I would never go back again. But, I started to feel better and the pain was getting better so I went back for my refills and to keep improving on my pain. I have been going there now for a while. The staff up front is better although on my last visit I could over here them talking about home problems and one girl kept texting on her phone. His nurse is still the same she does not return phone calls and always has some excuse for not calling back. The other staff members are very helpful. I had medicine ordered to the office and had paper work to pick up- his nurse told me it was ready to be picked up and when I went to go pick it up, she was not there and was unreachable. Luckily a guy who worked there and the Office Manager or Supervisor looked for the medicine and finally found the paper work. This took several minutes - around thirty or so. But they did not give up or blow me off. Both of them friendly and eager to make me happy since i was very upset.I would recommend this Dr. He is a good Dr. Just be prepared for a waiting time and possibly no return phone call from his nurse. patient- Wow where to begin? He is very kind, warm and caring, and has been very helpful in dealing with the problems that I have. I am very thankful that I have been able to see him.
