I LOVE this office!!!! The staff is the best! The hygienist was AWESOME!!! I don’t think my teeth have ever felt this clean! She was so gentle yet thorough! My family is so over me saying “wow, my teeth feel soooo clean!???? I highly recommend this place! Can’t wait for my next cleaning!

This place is a great experience, I hadn’t been to the dentist in years, and was a little anxious before my visit. When I got there the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was very comfortable.

If I could give 100 stars I would. I have had the most positive experience at SCCD. From the warm staff that literally makes you feel like family… to the bedside manner of Dr. Fetsch my anxiety was very quickly put at ease. They’re very knowledgeable; that, paired with state of the art equipment makes for an amazing experience. I have, and will continue to recommend this practice … I promise you won’t be disappointed. I got the New You Smile treatment (All on X) dental implants and it is literally changing my life!

Worth going there

I called in to discuss services and cost. I explained exactly what I was looking for and disclosed my budget. I was assured they could help me and had different options. They ran 30 minutes late and took my scan which was about 5 minutes. Instead of being seen by a dentist and my scan reviewed, I was taken into an office to discuss options only to find out they don't do mini implants (those are a thing of the past) and my budget would not cover any option they had to offer. Train you front desk to speak in specifics versus 'our dentists will help find the best solution' and to understand the financials involved. If they would have been upfront, I would not have wasted an hour of my life .

I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed here and everything went great. They even came in on their off day to make it happen. (Original date was on a snow day) ????????

Everyone in the office was super friendly and welcoming. I didn't feel pressured to schedule any expensive procedures as I have in other dental offices, and Dr. Fetsch was very knowledgeable about the issue I was having. I plan to go back, and will recommend this practice to others.

Dr Fetsch took over this practice from the wonderful Dr West, who retired and who my husband had been seeing for over 20 years. We booked only to find that Dr Fetsch will only accept one insurer, Delta. We have BCBS FEP Blue Dental. Was told the day of my daughter's appointment we would have to pay up front all costs and claim them back later as Fetsch is out of network. We were dumbstruck at why he only takes one insurer, but Sharon Harting's review below gave us some much needed insight. So sad that a wonderful established family dental practice has been hijacked in this way. My 8 year old is now in tears that she can no longer be seen at the practice that saw her since she was a baby. Avoid this dentist. I cannot express enough how great Dr. Fetsch and team are. They state they are dedicated to providing individualized dental care and they back that with action. From the time I first spoke to them on the phone about our situation, to our greeting when we got there, all of our interactions with the team, and Dr. Fetsch himself, amazing service, care, and understanding. Terrible experience with this dentist. Getting a crown took 4 expensive appointments, including a root canal I wasn't expecting, didn't give consent for, and was never informed that it was done. He told me I "couldn't" be feeling pain when I was. Didn't honor his promises about cost. Didn't respond in any way to my written concerns. Crown still hurts after 8 months and my new dentist says the root canal needs to be redone at a cost of $2800. What a HORRIBLE, expensive nightmare with this dentist! :(

I had been seeing Fetch for awhile but in O Fallon. What ever you do, do not let this man do implants on you! He did mine the teeth are to long and too big. He did a horrible job. After he tried for a year to get things right he gave me my money back and sent me on my way. My mouth is so messed up from him. I had to go to a specialist and things are still not fixed it going to take awhile to undo what he has done. I have talked to some of his other patients and they are also having problems. Ask yourself why would he leave his thriving practice in O Fallon. It’s because he had too! He messed up so many people. The insurance company he worked for let him go! It must be nice to mess so many people up and just move on. He doesn’t care. All the horrible reviews are gone and he just starts over. DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOU! Great staff and service

Had a crown come out at night. Went in the next morning to just see if someone could check it out and make sure it was just the crown. They had an opening so got me in and then back our in 30 minutes good as new! Amazing

I was quite impressed with Dr. Fetsch & how passionate he is about dentistry. It’s obvious immediately that he loves what he does & stays abreast on what is considered “cutting edge” in his profession. You’ll feel like you’re in good hands immediately. We have been patients of Dr. Fetsch for 15 years and have nothing but the best experience with his care. He is patient and careful and very thorough. He explains his plan for your care and answers all your questions prior to treatment. I had my first cavity about 10 years ago and never having dental work before, I was very nervous. Dr. Fetsch was so calming during my filling and it was actually a very painless experience. He is truly the best dentist we’ve ever had and we’ve referred many happy friends to him over the years. Excellent care. Comfort. Skilled technician. Dr. Fetsch is both skilled and personable!! The technology in the office is state of the art. The office staff are super as well. This is a great crew ! And I am ultra picky. Just sayin ! : -)

My last two appointments were rescheduled with them because of scheduling errors on their end. They didn't recommend sealants for my daughter until she was 15 and insurance no longer covers sealants at 15 years old. After I paid to get the sealants she had three cavities at her next appointment on the teeth she got the sealants on 6 months prior. They said they would credit me for the sealants. When I went back in to get the cavities filled there was no credit on my account for the sealants.

Dr. Fetsch and his entire team--from the front desk to assistants and hygienists--are amazing. They're not only great at what they do, but they always take their time with me. I never feel like they're in a rush, though I know they must be. And they also know how to smile, laugh, and enjoy their work. For all the jokes about hating to go to the dentist, this team provides a breath-of-fresh-air experience.

Dr. Fetsch has been my dentist for nearly 20 years. He genuinely cares about his patients and their total well being. The entire staff at Deer Creek Dental treat their patients like family. Before coming to see Dr. Fetch I was extremely reluctant to even go to the dentist because of years of bad experiences. I cannot say enough how much I highly regard, respect, and appreciate the care provided by Dr. Fetsch and his staff.

Really and truly enjoyed my visit with a Brittany and Dr Fetsch at Deer Creek Dental. My teeth was taken great care of but Brittany and Dr Fetsch followed her up with a very courteous and professional exam. I appreciate none of them smelling like cigarettes or smoke too. (Been there done that) I was also given estimates on the work I needed before I left that day in clear to understand and read papers. I enjoy having deer Creek taking care of me and my family dental needs! Thanks!

So patient and professional

I had the best experience I’ve ever had at a Dentis. My Hygenist, Britni, was friendly, totally informing, and was skilled and thorough! Britni came in on her day off to complete the the work! Dr Fetch has removed a Wisdom Tooth and put Crowns on three teeth. This work was done approximately 2 years ago and was painless and performed in a very friendly atmosphere!

Great experience

Switched Dentists from my last one for 15 years. Dr Fetsch and his assistants are always on time and the quality of work is great. They also work with my insurance. My experience is very positive and will keep coming back as well as the rest of my family. Keep up the good work!

I have been going to Dr. Fetsch ever since he opened his office in O'Fallon. It has been over 10 years. I never liked going to the dentist before I started going to Dr. Fetsch.. I feel comfortable with Dr. Fetsch as my dentist and trust him to work on my teeth.

I'm the biggest chicken when it comes to "any doctor" and Dentist does rank #1 on the list, however the team here is over and beyond attentive to this fear. Dr. James Fetsch came in and remembered me, made me feel at ease with his "chair side" manner, I totally forgot until he said open wide that I was in the chair. Will continue to go back and tell others and I am already scheduling family members. Thanks so much the entire team there is Great! All seem friendly and professional.

I love going to see Dr Detach and his staff. They all very professional

We have been coming to Dr. Fetsch for many years, he is great with the kids. I hear some of my friends say they take thier kids to a pediatric denstist but with Dr. Fetsch this is not something I have ever thought of. I think the kids seeing me go to the same dentist helps thier comfort level with the experience and they have no fear about dentists. He explains everything and includes them in the conversations. A+ in my book!

I have been going to Dr. Fetsch since we moved to O'Fallon and I would not got anywhere else. Having had very bad experience before, he made me feel at ease and is taking really good care of me and my whole family. Thanks Dr. Fetsch!
