James Gandy

Dr. James Gandy is and has been the best Doctor I have ever met. He is invested in helping you any way he can and he is amazing at helping you to figure out what is the best treatment and course of action for you to reach your goals in your treatment and for you to succeed. He's easy to talk with and makes you feel comfortable. You can tell he's very compassionate about what helping people. Their needs to be more Doctors in every medical field like Dr. James Gandy. He is Absolutely An Amazing and Genuine person. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to meet him and have him be apart of this journey that I'm on right now.

Staff took word of Alzheimer's patient that he didn't need to see the doctor anymore and canceled an appointment without contacting POA/main phone contact. For another appointment, scheduled three months in advance, received a call at 9am that the appointment that day would have to be virtual. Per Dr. Gandy, virtual visits were not effective for this patient. Placed at least five phone calls and waited over three weeks to get the appointment re-scheduled as soon as possible. No response from Dr. Gandy or two of his staff members. Am looking for a new doctor.

Fantastic. I went with a friend who was showing signs of on-coming dementia. On the way there she was so stressed she couldn't put one sentence together. On the way home we had a full and easy conversation. He had removed all her stress even though the news wasn't great. He was so compassionate and full of knowledge. No question he couldn't answer. He handled everything expertly with her in mind and helped me know how to best help her.

Dr. Gandy is a very compassionate doctor who listens and answers questions in a thoughtful manner. I believe in his multi-faceted approach--nutrition, medicine, therapy, etc. The furniture and overall atmosphere in Summit Pointe could be improved. It reminds me of the 70s colors and styles--putrid green. Most of the staff are helpful, but a couple of them have ignored me when I went to sign in to register.
