I really liked Dr. Adams, followed him to 3 different locations no matter how far away he got from me. I felt like I wasn’t just a number but he knew me . He has started taking on too many patients now not turning anyone away and this last time I went he was leaving the room and says “it was nice to meet you” That’s when I knew I’m now a number again.

Excellent bedside manners. Listens to you. Glad he is my Dr.

Has been my doctor for couple years now. Has always diagnosed me correctly and is such a knowledgeable doctor. Has a great attitude and takes his time with his patients. My wife sees him also and she absolutely loves that she switched doctors.

The last time I seen Dr Hayes was before I had a stroke on April 19th. It was great to see him again, he's always very informative.He talks in English so I can understand while he takes great care of me and my family

Doctor James R. Hayes is my Doctor who takes care of my health needs. Doctor James R. Hays is the best of the best of Doctors who I ever dealt with. Every appointment with him he looks over my labs test results and always oversees and monitors my Diabetes and I follow his great recommendation to lower my blood A1C. By following his recommendations shows positive results in managing my diabetes. I could not ask for a Better doctor than Doctor James R. Hayes. He’s the best of the best in my book.

I always have a good experience with the waiting room staff and medical staff at this facility. They are caring, helpful, knowledgeable, and able to meet my needs as they arise.

Was a great experience. Dr.Hayes took time and was very easy to talk to.He was informative and think I will be pleased that I have chosen him as my primary care dr.

I’ve always been confident with Ascension Physicians. I just recently met Dr Hayes and I liked him the moment he stuck his head in my room, called me by my first name and said he’d be in to see me shortly. I felt he was very attentive and compassionate and paid attention to what I had to say while addressing my issues.

Dr. Hayes is a wonderful dr. He is attentive, thorough and listens to the patient. The only issue that I have and this is not his fault. When I am sick and need to see him I am not able to get in when I need to be seen. I usually have to go to urgent care. I am not happy about that since he is my primary dr. I feel that is an issue and that should be corrected.

Dr. Hayes is an excellent doctor, I trust him with my life!! He is so kind and thoughtful, you will never meet no better person than Dr. Hayes. Sincerely, Charlotte Watkins

My experience at your facility was the best. I Pre-check in on your portal, user friendly. Didn’t have to wait long, they were calling my name. The nurse was very friendly and professional. Did not have to wait long for Dr. Hayes and he is a great doctor and really Professional. Lab was very busy but also very organized, and got me in and out of there. My visit is always the best check up A person, that cares, stops and listens to What the patient has to say. That’s why I keep coming back, because of the doctor And his staff and the way this facility runs.

You will have to wait 45 minutes before he comes in.He also seems to prioritize saving insurance money over ordering testing for you.Communication with his office is near impossible if you have any questions or problems.

Can't say enough good things about Dr.Hayes!so easy to talk ,answer your questions and concerns.

The staff and nurses were very kind and polite. Dr Hayes is a doctor that showed me that he had my welfare at heart he is a super nice gentleman. He reminds me of the doctors when I was a young man.

Always on time. Entire staff is friendly and helpful. Everyone knows their job and does it well. What else can I say?

The entire experience is done with professionalism and care. Check in, nurses and Dr. Hayes are excellent in their positions. I am so thankful to have this facility and people caring for and about me!

Dr Hayes has been my PCP for almost 6 six years. He is the best physician in the Nashville area. He was referred to me by my cardiologist. Now all of my family members go to him as well! We all drive 35 minutes to see him. If I had to drive a few hours, I would still go to Dr Hayes!!! The Best!

Dr Hayes has been our Primary care physician for at least 10 years. We value his judgement and have confidence in his care. He always listens, takes time to properly prepare, and allows as much time as necessary to meet with us and explain or address our needs and our concerns. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. .Hayes as my physician. He is a very understanding, personable,and knowledgeable individual. I would hope that I would have him for many years, he is someone who truly cares about his patients. He also has an excellent nurse who has a pleasant disposition,helpful,and knowledgeable of my medical condition. I would recommend him to anyone, for he reminds me of my former physician who retired Dr. Steve Payne. It is is rare to have these two great doctors who have made a difference in my life.

I am almost speechless. This doctor is the most amazing doctor I have ever encountered. I wish I had established care with him MUCH sooner. He is a great doctor with a perfect experience,

Dr. Hayes is very personable and professional when taking care of his patients. Takes time to listen and answer questions when asked. Sees patients in a timely manner and follow up with patient as needed. Makes sure patient’s needs as assessed and addressed at visit. A good physician and I would recommend him to anyone. C. I’ve been a patient of Dr Hayes for 20+ years and he is by far the best there is! Sometimes it can be hard to get in to see him but that’s just because of how popular he is - from me, my husband, and my parents, he comes very highly recommended!!

I absolutely love Dr. Hayes and his staff! He takes his time, is very thorough, and answers any questions or concerns! He is pretty quick about responding to patient portal messages! The only downside to this practice is, it is so hard to get in for a sick appointment unless you want to wait a month to be seen by one of their practioners in which by the way are all fantastic! When I say "sick appointment" im not speaking of cold/flu/covid symptoms. I had to wait to see someone for dizziness I was experiencing. However, this is a great place and everyone is always so nice! Service was great at the front desk and in the back. Dr.Hayes II Is great he don’t rush you he listens to everything you have to say and helps you in anyway you need.I’d give more stars if I could he’s been the best pcp dr I’ve had and I’d recommend him to anyone that needs a Dr. He’s answered the questions I’ve asked him that my other drs I’ve had in the past just looked over like I never asked. Dr Hayes is one awesone Dr. We have followed him for years. He cares about his patients and listens to their needs. Most Dr.'s rush you in and rush you out. We have never had that problem with Dr Hayes. This one is one that need recognition. Thank you for all you do and have done for my husband. We appreciate you so much.

Dr. Hayes is by far the best doctor that I have seen in my 85 years. Feel very fortunate to be in his care. Always makes me feel that I count.

Been going to this guy since the Spring Hill days, always makes sure that we are heard and explains everything, he has seen me through my cancer and some challenging time. Love this Dr.

I like Dr Hayes, he takes the time to talk to you & listens.

Just had my first visit with Dr Hayes after my PCP retired. I was throughly impressed. He had read my chart and knew my history in that office for almost 20 years. I almost felt like I’d had an annual exam. I am so glad my family chose him and stayed with the same office even though it is completely across town. I’d recommend Dr. Hayes and StThomas New Salem completely. Very professional friendly staff. And the patient portal is very easy to navigate. I can send a question and they either answer on the portal or call me. I feel connected.

I think he is one of the best doctors I’ve seen in the last 63 years, he is very informative, Knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

I have been seeing Dr Hayes since moving to TN in 2013. Saw him during a weekend after hours visit and from that visit I knew he was the right provider for me. He always takes the time to spend with his patients to make sure they get the right treatment and medications on the 1st visit. In a time where insurance companies try to drive care, Dr Hayes still takes the initiative to push back and treat his patients thoroughly on the first visit so you don't have to come back for additional care.
