Dr. James L Kehoe IV

Dr Kehoe claimed I had a torn labrum. After surgery he stated the labrum was not torn, I just had tissue build up. He stated he got rid of all of the dead tissue. The same pain remained. Needless to say, at my first follow-up appointment I was waiting in his office for nearly an hour to see him. He spent maybe 5 minutes with me and dismissed me like the pain was in my head. There are plenty of good Surgeons out there, he is not one of them.

He is abrupt and always in a hurry.

Dr Kehoe does great work! At HealthQuest Physical Therapy, we have the opportunity of working directly with Dr. Kehoe and some of his patients. His patients have great outcomes with surgery and has a great following within our community.

Worst ever. Misdiagnosed a torn peck for a torn biceps. I am nearly 40 now. The injury happened in high school. He spent to much time accusing me of taking steroids to find and fix the issue. Where does a high school kid get steroids? His partner at the time pulled my mother and I aside and told us to get a second opinion. By the time I got into another doc the muscle had atrophied. Piece of advice. Find someone else. I should have listened to the ER doc. He wanted to rush me right back to surgery.

Great surgeon and bedside manner.

Wonderful personality, he treated me like a friend. The staff his always wonderful. I miss Loren the nurse practitioner, but Dr. Kehoe does give a nice injection. I love the fact that they use an ultra sound machine to guide the injection. Jody, keep up the good work.

Been calling for about a week now. Office workers that answer the phones are not helpful at all... Been in extreme pain and the doctor or nurse that called in my prescription messed it up and I've been waiting a week in extreme pain. Every call seems to get more and more frustrating. The one secretary refused to give up a phone number for my medical records until i was "calm". Try having broken ribs and other broken bones and stay calm when these doctors are screwing up so badly. No one listens and they cut you off on the phone. I asked over and over for my medical records. She avoided my question until I got upset. Been calling for about a week now. Doesn't seem to care about patients after he's done with his procedures. You'll be left in Limbo until they cant "get to you" no matter the urgency apparently. Also don't expect them to call in any of your prescriptions properly. Receptionists are extremely rude and don't answer any of the questions asks. They avoid them and try to sympathize for you. We dont want sympathy, we want answers because we have potentially life threatening things going on inside our bodies. Most of the staff we encountered were unprofessional and made mistakes here and there. There was only 1 decent nurse there that actually knew what she was doing and knew how to help. Does good work, however the vast majorirty of his staff doesn't have any concept of patient care. After surgery dont expect much help if any. Your best bet is to just find a new doctor. This has been an absolute nightmare of an experience. They don't care how much pain youre in, I'm almost positive im having complications possibly life threatening. I had an acl reconstruction surgery done by Dr.Kehoe 2 years ago. He was very thorough with his explanation of the MRI results and offered me 2 options for surgery. Overall, I believe he did a great job with my knee surgery.

The WORST physician I have ever seen in my life! Waited for 45 minutes past my scheduled time first off. Instead of help with my pain, and even though he knew my previous medical condition, this pompous, know-it-all, continually berated me over things I have no control over and made me feel like a complete idiot! He gave me no help! STAY CLEAR OF HIM! FIND SOMEONE WHO WILL HELP YOU AND ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT MORE THAN AN INSURANCE PAYMENT!!!! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!
