Not only is his skill incredible, but he and his entire team are experts in everything they do before, during and after surgery. Dr. Krieg was fantastic! He explained all my options very clearly. He and his staff always made themselves available for any questions or concerns.

I am a Chondrosarcoma patient and Dr. Brown, Dr. Krieg, every nurse and resident on board has made my life so much easier after a failed surgery at a different hospital. Their team saved my life and I am so grateful for their care. Dr. Krieg it a world class surgeon who takes health and mobility very seriously. I am a life long athlete and a medical professional who was recently hit by a car. If you are going to get your foot and ankle accidentally damaged, I would recommend doing it as close to the Rothman Institute as possible.

Due to time constraints the first time I met Dr. Kreig was right before my surgery . (Tibial Plateau Fracture) He was thorough in explaining the surgery and did a quick drawing of the procedure. Almost three weeks out from surgery and doing well.

Dr. Krieg gets 5 stars! Even though he is a surgeon, he initially attempted to treat my hip fracture in a non-surgical manner. It was not successful so he did have to perform surgery. He explained the procedure to me and it was a success. I did not have any significant postoperative pain either, only needing Tylenol occasionally. He is always professional, has a good bedside manner and explains everything in detail. I recommend him wholeheartedly if orthopedic care is needed. Dr. Krieg gets 5 stars! If you are looking for an orthopedic surgeon, especially to address trauma related injuries - LOOK NO FURTHER! I survived a head on collision on an expressway - so I had many broken bones and had multiple surgeries from other Doctors. Two major injuries failed to heal. I couldn't walk and was desperate to get my life back so I did my homework to find the best care possible and landed on Dr. Krieg. He meticulously assessed my situation and put a plan together. Articulated it well. I could tell his focus was on restoring the quality of my life - rather then tell me I'm screwed as other doctors have. Due to the extent of my injuries , I've had EIGHT surgeries with him, 5 of which have been inpatient. He is honest, compassionate, talented and extremely articulate. Dr. Krieg fixed what multiple other Doctor's could not. He surrounds himself with great support staff and peers. Very responsive, outstanding bedside manner, very very intelligent. Dr.Krieg is a great surgeon. The nature of my injury was bad and he I couldn’t be more pleased at my progress and recovery. He continues to care for my injury with compassion and expertise. I highly recommend Dr Krieg for any orthopedic surgery you may need!

I highly recommend Dr. Krieg as a very talented, competent and thoughtful surgeon. He evaluated my situation and came up with a surgical plan that was appropriate to my individual situation and needs. I was in and out. Dr Krieg did my operation on my broken right ankle in 2017 and now in 2019 I was having issues. But after seeing Dr Krieg and seeing my X-ray everything looks fine. So I will wear my Dr Scholls for support and pray that things get better. Thank you, Dr Krieg!

Dr. James Krieg is simply the best. After getting into a car accident in mid-December, I needed a solid doctor to repair the tibial plateau fracture that I obtained in my right leg in the accident. Dr. Krieg operated on me on Thursday, December 19th at Jefferson hospital. A day later, I was discharged from the hospital with NO cast and the ability to move my foot around, and only a couple days later, I felt fine! The pain subsided, and it was near completely gone! My only limit was to not put weight on my right foot for 6-8 weeks (which is required after all tibia surgeries). Dr. Kreig is as professional and as kind as you can get in a doctor. He's very intelligent, and I 100% knew when I first met him, he is thee best trauma surgeon in Philadelphia and was the surgeon for me. He and one of his residential students, Dr. Stull were very nice and executed the surgery perfectly. I'd recommend him to anybody; a very smart and kind doctor who really knows what he is doing! Dr. Krieg was AMAZING!! He spent so much time with me explaining my injury in detail and really made me feel like I was cared about. I would recommend him to anyone. I had heard great things about him from so many people before I saw him and he exceeded expectations.

Dr. Krieg is an excellent surgeon. He explained everything. He has very well trained support staff. He's patient and he listens. I was broken and he fixed me better than new.

Dr. Krieg is one of the best doctors I have encountered. He surgically treated an infection in my SI joint. He clearly explained my condition, including what to expect after surgery and during the months of recovery. He provided follow up care until I was fully recovered. Dr. Krieg is a highly skilled surgeon. I trust him 100% and would recommend him to anyone in need.

Dr. Krieg is simply the best. When I fell 10 feet from a climbing wall and obtained a complex displaced elbow fracture, I was afraid I would never be able to use my arm again. Following surgery, I’ve regained most of my range of motion and will eventually return to climbing, weightlifting and other activities. I am grateful to be under the care of such a talented surgeon and sculptor.

Dr. James krieg, had his assistant discharge mw with voice messages and won't see me after 2 surgery in 7 month I was the one who had to tell him I should go see a wound doctor now he wants nothing to do with me. He is a disgrace

Dr. James Krieg is a wonderful doctor. When I had a traumatic arm injury, he was the perfect choice to perform the surgery. His talents as a surgeon are many, and his aftercare of my broken arm/torn ligaments/displaced elbow was incredible. I feel fortunate to have had him as my surgeon during such trying times.

I came to Dr Krieg in dire straights, coming to see him with my local ortho telling me my knee is what is at this point, or I can fuse your knee ...almost sarcastically. At the age of 45 with kids and grand kids, and being physical with a physical job...my life was done for. I came to see Dr krieg, and in ten minutes he rediagnosed my crippling injury! To me, Dr Krieg found several complications, and a bone infection. success. Hardware removal, and success in giving me my life back!! Thank you!
