If you need a geneticist, I do not recommend this one. What I will call a "bedside manner" was highly insensitive and it left a long-term impact on the child examined and his mother isn't happy with him either. Yale does not equal a great doctor. I had a great experience at UCONN genetics. Look around...he isn't the only one in the field within a 30 mile radius. Sadly I spent thousands of dollars to extend my health insurance to see this awful man and the experience left after-shocks. I got a diagnosis from someone else. He clearly did not want to be helpful or do his job. He wouldn't even look up the other condition highly dominant in my family. The staff member who calls you back is unprofessional an did not have answers. Stated that the test were fine for what they were looking for after another diagnoises was confirmed by 2 othere geneticist! So I ask if the original diagnoises still remain she answered "yes"! Days later calls me after a referral was sent out for my youngest child. An says whats the point in seeing your other kid? My office can't do anything! Mind blown, I said your confusing me, I just spoke with you a few days ago. She states let me check the test again! Than doesn't look for that specific 1st diagnoises once again! An says theres nothing wrong with my child????????! Who has been sick since birth an previously diagnoised along with 8 other family members! So it leaves me not believing in the world of doctors that were suppose to trust! She honestly didn't even know what she was talking about! SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!
