Dr. James T Ninomiya

He did the third of my knee replacements, was very disappointed with him. He never came to see me while I was in the hospital and at my 6 week check up was very short and rushed me out before I had time to ask questions. Would not recommend him.

Dr. Ninomiya listened to all my concerns, answered all my questions, preformed knee replacement surgery skillfully, and has great people skills.

Dr. Ninomiya pushed everything through very quickly! 2.5 weeks later and I'm feeling great! The team in the hospital goes above and beyond, you get a lot of attention! I highly recommend it.

Dr. Ninomiya takes his time with each patient to the satisfaction of the patient. He is down to earth and explains things in every day language. He and his team pay attention to the details to make sure you are supported and have the best chance of success from pre-op to the operation and post op, as well as through recovery. They are in daily contact with you and very responsive. I had my right hip replaced and are going to need to have my left hip replaced and there is no way I will go to anyone other then Dr. Ninamiya to have it done. I'm very impressed by he and his team's attention to the details and their ability to make you feel like the only patient. Also it's important to me to be treated with honesty and respect, which was just outstanding from the first appointment to the last follow-up appointment.

Dr. Ninomiya was extremely caring and professional both before surgery and after. Having him as my surgeon made a very frightening experience tolerable. Likewise the Ortho team, Nursing staff, and Rehab team at CMH and Froedtert were top notch. Thank you to all.

Friendly atmosphere from the start by all I met who would answer all my questions and concerns. I have all the faith in the world in Dr. N’s talents and his team. Hopefully I will never need his services again but I wouldn’t hesitate to have him work his “magic” on me again.

He’s a excellent doctor and it took 2 week before I could walk again that is excellent timing and to me he’s the best doctor I would use having a joint replacement.

This is a total experience where they seem to have thought of all the variables and try to control the things that could go wrong and do so in a very good way.

I appreciate that Dr. Ninomiya makes treatment recommendations based on the science. I thought the entire Froedtert/Medical College joint replacement program was excellent.

From first meeting with Dr Ninomiya and all the time he took discussing and answering my questions, to surgery and now in recovery from my TKR, my experience has been wonderful. Surgery was done with a spinal which I highly recommend. Hospital staff was caring, always patient and attentiveness. Dr Ninomiya did a great job on my knee. I believe my healing and how good the knee is progressing is evidence of his great work. And the incision over the knee is beautiful. Dr Ninomiya is exemplary.

He's very knowledgeable about the bones in your body and how they should work. He kept checking on me while I was in the hospital to make sure I everything was going ok. He's top of the line when it comes to orthopedic doctor's

He listens and spends an appropriate amount of time to understand your concerns. Very pleased with 3 surgeries from him.

Dr. Ninomiya did a fantastic job with my hip, just like he did with my other hip. I would recommend him without hesitation.

went to see him Aug 2017 about very bad knee problem. Talked with nurse first, my weight seemed to be a problem. He came to see me and never looked at the knee . Talk was My BMI. heart condition , and lung condition . Never once did he address the problem with my knee. My other Doctors said it wasn't a problem for me to have a replacement. I found a younger Doctor, said NO PROBLEM..Dec 4,2017 new knee. Great! Ninomiya is Rude and Unprofessional. And most likely not that Good of a orthopedic MD.

We would highly recommend Dr.Ninomiya to any who ask. Not only was Community Memorial a wonderful hospital, each staff member was so helpful, competent & kind. Health Grades was an excellent tool. Both Tracys helped us. George had some unusual bleeding onto his would dressing. Tracy addressed my concerns on a sunny, Sunday afternoon! That is service above & beyond.

Dr Ninomiya is very good and is very through with his procedure. The team is great. Respond to questions and concerns quickly. HealthLoop is wonderful. Love the fact that I can re-read information if I need to.

Dr Ninomiya worked with me to determine if surgery was right. He was honest about what to expect for recovery. He gave me the level of detail I needed, and as more questions arose he would quickly respond to electronic messaging (my preferred way to communicate). The pre-surgery class that he recommended was really helpful. The staff at the hospital where he operates was kind and compassionate and partnered with me to determine best pain management plan and discharge plans. I

Experience with Dr. Ninomiya was very satisfying. However, I am somewhat lost trying to deal with further experiences (tests) and at this point don't know where things (I) stand. Moreover, why not supply patients with an informational list of the various doctors, telephone numbers etc.

No problems with Dr Ninomiya and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He is very much a part of the surgery as the recovery and keeps pretty informed about what all is going on. I had a total hip replacement. The entire care team is very responsive. It helped very much that at the first appointment, you were given A plan for her to call form which needs. Everything going well so far.

Dr. Ninomiya is an excellent surgeon with an amazing bedside manner. He provides clear explanations of identified problems and offers multiple solutions. Dr. Ninomiya included me in the discussion of my treatment and the decision to have surgery. I am now recovering and participating in physical therapy.
