Dr. James E. Outman

Very rude I completely refused to allow him to talk to me again. Definitely wouldn't consider him at all.

Would not recommend this doctor to any person .

Dr. Outman was the first doctor to find why I was so sick. I had been sick for 2 years and turned away from the ER more times than I can count. I got to the point I couldn't even walk. My husband drove me 1 1/2 to Cape ER. There Dr. Outman saw a blockage and thought it was a kidney stone. Once he got in there it wasn't. He did his best to try and help me and keep me from having a big surgery but ultimately I needed to go to St.Louis. Because of his referral I got in to see Dr. Murphy an incredible surgeon who changed my life by fixing my kidney 100%! No more ER visits, no more severe pain and without Dr. Outman believing me and listening to me I may not be here today. Went in to have a kidney stone broken up. My regular doctor was pretty busy and dr outman said he would do it. He never came in to introduce himself to me. I came out with a stint that I didn’t know I would have. Was give no pain meds. By the next day I was in Excruciating pain. My regular doctors fnp ordered me pain meds with Nausea medication. My instructions for home do not give a return date for follow up or to have stint removed. I would not recommend Dr. James Outman III to anyone. Went in to have a kidney stone broken up. I started seeing Dr. Outman about a year ago with problems. He was in and out fast, but he also spent an adequate amount of time with me. He recently did an outpatient procedure on me and the procedure helped me tremendously, he also saw something that concerned him and made sure I saw one of my other doctors to check it out. I really appreciate his level of concern there. Luckily everything was ok. Not many doctors are like that. He's one of the best.

had a appointment with Dr. Outman today 11-01-17 The Dr. did not see me or talk to me at all even though he was present, a nurse and a trainee nurse performed all of the procedure including checking to see if my prostate had changed at all. this i felt should have been performed by Dr. Outman but I guess he thought it not important When I make an appointment with a Dr.I expect his courtesy of at least talking to me

I was referred to this office and my appointment time was pre-arranged for me. When I got there the receptionist failed to tell me that I needed a referral number from my insurance in order for my insurance to cover my appointment. Now they are telling me that I owe the bill myself. When talking to Lisa, their office manager, she was very well rehearsed on all her excuses, one right after another. It sounds and feels like a fraudlant practice for their office to fully know that their patient needs a referral number yet not tell them and then charge them full price out of pocket charges because they mishandled my insurance! The doctor was ok the one time I got to see him. They literally run in and out of the office. I felt like I was pushed off onto another doctor whom I didn't even know she was a doctor till I got a bill. When I called I could never talk to the same nurse. The receptionist s were very rude. My calls were never returned the same day. Everything is always a month out. They talked so fast and I never felt like I was listened to. I would not recommend this office to anyone especially someone in pain!

Doctor Outman removed a cancerous kidney for me three years ago. I am extremely grateful to him for that. He was very caring and I felt completely safe having him as my surgeon.
