Dr. James Peter Sellas

Wow Dr. Sellas is AMAZING!!! I drove over 2 hours from out of town to have my surgery done by Dr. Sellas. There isn't another oral surgeon I would trust to take care of me and my family. He is the most professional, kind, patient, and thorough doctor I have ever been to. From the moment you walk into the waiting room the staff greet you and make you feel safe and comfortable. His surgical staff were all professional, patient, and caring. Dr. Sellas was very thorough and took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand it. Dr. Sellas told me he has been doing surgery for over 37 years at his office. It put my nerves at ease to know I was in the hands of the Awesome surgeon! After surgery I had a painless recovery. I would recommend Dr. Sellas and his excellent team to everyone! He truly is a pillar in the community and is an excellent ethical surgeon. Thank you Dr. Sellas for taking care of me.

I have had both my boys at Dr. Sellas for their wisdom teeth. What a great experience from start to finish. Dr. Sellas was very honest with my boys of what to expect after surgery so my boys wouldn't freak out at every little thing. It defiantly helped my boys. The entire staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. I would refer to Dr. Sellas for all my family and friends.

I had my wisdom teeth removed here and my experience went a lot better than I had expected as I was pretty nervous. Dr. Sellas was very informative about the surgery and answered all my questions kindly before my surgery. The surgery went great and the staff were very professional and kind during the whole process. I also appreciated the courtesy call to check in on me during my recovery.

I started seeing Dr. Sellas after a rugby accident in 2007 where I lost multiple front teeth. I came in as an emergency and he arrived to his office quickly and immediately took care of the situation. I have gotten to know Dr. Sellas over the years and he has always had the best bedside manner. He always explained all the risk factors and the pros and cons of my surgery of multiple bone grafts and implants and because of his expertise and years of experience I was able to Fully restore my smile. I have nothing but great things to say about him and his office. All of his nurses were friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable while under their care. I recommend all of my family and friends to Dr.Sellas

Just awful. My kid was booked to do two wisdom teeth and he insisted on doing all four. I gave him a chance because we needed the procedure done and my daughter had already gone without food or drink. After the procedure he was not nice and downright rude. Luckily I was able to get the second two by another surgeon who was amazing. As a. Parent I am warning all other parents to not trust this guy. Learn from my mistakes

I had brought my both my boys in for their wisdom teeth. Dr. Sellas and his team were so amazing. They are very caring and Dr Sellas explained everything in detail. My boys did not have any bruising and minimal discomfort. This was the best experience I have ever had with an oral surgeon. Thank you so much Dr. Sellas and team.

Rude, complete type A , didn't answer my questions. Embarrassed me in front of staff and waiting room . I can't even comment about his work because he made me cry and I left. Never have had an experience with any professional like this ever

Woke up with discomfort and a swollen face I knew I had to get something done asap. I didn't follow through with some extractions my dentist had recommended. I CALLED THE STAFF 8am on the dot and they got me in at 9am. They helped with getting the previous referral from my Dentist even though he was not the surgeon they originally referred. The Staff was friendly and I liked James the surgeon. He's a straight shooter I can appreciate that. I had Three extractions and bone graft . I'm home in bed with a lot of stress off of my head. I got my wisdom teeth taken out at this place because my general dentist wrote me a referral for it. WORST IDEA EVER. After they removed my wisdom teeth out, I noticed I could not smile with my teeth without my mouth shaking!! I thought it would eventually go away but it has been two months after my surgery and my mouth still shakes when I smile! I called a week after I got my wisdom teeth out to tell them about my concern and the receptionist said to call a month later if it had not gone away which I did and she tried to deny it and say “who said that.” Mind you, she is very defensive when it comes to concerns, etc. The whole office gave me uncomfortable feelings the whole time I was there. They make you feel as if they are above you just because you are just another patient. Best believe I will look into what I can do for getting nerve damage from this place! DO NOT GO HERE. I had two wisdom teeth out and one molar. Everyone there, including Dr. Sellas, was very friendly. They made feel comfortable and taken care of. The procedure went great. I would recommend Dr. Sellas to anyone. He’s a great, down to earth guy.

Dr. Sellas and his whole staff were amazing not only for myself today but for my two adult kids that had their wisdom teeth removed...I can’t express the gratitude I have for him and his whole staff! I’m am truly blessed to have them treat myself and my kids! Wow!!!! I have MS and been having Trigeminal Neuralgia. Besides that the pain that molars have been causing me by grinding has not helped and has made it worse for me (I’ve broken fillings and chipped my wisdom teeth). He was so understanding and took great care of me!!!! AMAZING!!!! I wish there was a way to show them how much I appreciate them! During this pandemic he is caring for his patients and his staff! Wearing protective gear and keeping the social distancing between patient and staff... Thank you again!!! I was in tears when I realized that I was being taken care of and they made me feel comfortable. I walked in scared and a bit nervous but when I sat down in the treatment chair all of that went away! Had to get four wisdom teeth removed plus four other extractions for braces, one of which was impacted. Being an "older" patient (26), he told me there was a risk of my lower lip being numb since my roots were close to my nerves but none of that happened. Great experience. He was quick, efficient, thorough instructions, and great staff. I've had great recovery with no complications (as long as you follow his instructions). Would recommend him. I was unfortunately recommended to Dr. Sellas to have 4 teeth extracted. The surgery and recovery itself went well. It is the overall attitude of the staff and Dr Sellas that I have an concerns about. DR. Sellas talks to adults in a degrading nature like we are children and acts superior to his clients. Being condescending and disrespectful seems to run amongst the staff there since they talked down to my mother while I was having the surgery. They are also liars, saying I can split my payment into 2 months but charged me twice in one month. I highly do not recommend Dr. James P Selles and their office for being distrustful, arrogant and inconsiderate. Hope you reconsider your decision in choosing this practice for your dental needs. This place is amazing my 14 year old daughter had her wisdom teeth removed there the staff was awesome super nice explained everything very through the dr was wonderful he made us comfortable took our worry away and made us chuckle a bit with his upbeat personality my daughter healed nicely and i would recommend this place 200% i was extremely happy with the treatment we all got specially my child thank u all!! Office is clean. Dr is very great at explaining details on recovery and has a sense of humor. Wisdom tooth extractions Heald​ great. Dr is highly experienced and nurses were great to comfort a big grown baby like myself. Would definitely recommend this office to others.

Went in July to have all four wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Sellas and staff kept it from being an overly unpleasant experience and I was able to recover very quickly and without any issue whatsoever. Did not even have any noticeable swelling. The holes in my gums are almost completely gone at this point, barely visible. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Doctor and staff. Had surgery done and was very please with the results. Very personal and sincere. I recommend him for any oral surgery and/or implants.

Dr. Sellas and his entire staff are great. My issue was taken care of quickly and easily. The entire staff were very helpful and caring. I had a great experience there.
