Dr. Stuart's practice is excellent. A caring and to the point physician who makes you feel ill at ease and makes the patient confident in his care.

Dr. Stuart was recommended by a friend who spoke highly of him. He performed a right hand carpal tunnel release surgery that went quite well he was informative and easy to get his stuff to answer any questions I had. Unfortunately I needed to see him again for my left hand middle finger, I had a fight with a woodworking tool and it won. Once again he continue to be professional with a very good sense of humor that helped the stress level anyone would have with hand injuries. I believe Dr. Stewart scored a 10+ With bedside manner and professionalism.

I contacted Dr. Stuart via a message on My Chart. He answered within 1/2 hour which was so much quicker than I ever expected. I was able to get an appointment the next day. He is very friendly and knowledgeable and has a great way to make you feel that he cares about your issue. He was on time for my appointment. Absolutely no complaints.

My experience with Dr. Stuart was very good. He was one of the few doctors I have encountered over the years that took the time to explain my injury and planned out a conservative approach to heal it. After exhausting non-surgical methods to heal the injury, he ultimately recommended surgery to repair the damage. During surgery, he took the time to assess the damage and made the best medical call on repair based on his years of experience. I am now well on my way to a successful recovery. From the first day I saw Dr. Stuart to my last visit, he has been there the entire time insuring I had the best medical advice and knowledge around my injury and recovery. He is very personable and very easy to talk to. I would highly recommend Dr. Stuart to any patient requiring medical treatment for a TFCC tear.

Dr Stuart is caring, personable and a consummate professional. He diagnosed my problem at once and gave me 3 options for treatment so that I could choose one with which I was most comfortable. He answered my questions in a thoughtful way, was very gentle in giving treatment and had me on my way within 45 minutes. Highly recommended!!

I have terrible arthritis in my thumb and Dr Stuart is going to do surgery to fix it

Went to see him on follow up to my surgery. He was gentle, understanding and caring. I would recommend him at anyone needing a great hand doc.

I have used Dr. Stuart in the past;he performed carpel tunnel surgery on me in 2012. Never had another problem. I just saw him again for something called trigger finger, and he has provided me great relief. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Stuart was quick to see me and get me scheduled for a time sensitive surgery. I’ve seen him for three separate issues! Think this is excellent care!

I just had carpal tunnel surgery of my left wrist a week and a half ago. Dr. Stuart is an amazing surgeon! The surgery went really well. I only have a tiny incision on my wrist. I am very impressed with his thoroughness and care. My appointments have never felt rushed, and all my questions are always answered either in person or by emailing him. I will not hesitate to have him do the surgery on my right wrist when the time comes.

I recently had hand surgery due to carpal tunnel syndrome. I highly recommend Dr. Stuart if you or a loved one is suffering from carpal tunnel. All other remedies had failed me but Dr. Stuart repaired my hand and now I am pain and numbness free. He is a skilled surgeon with many years of experience and knowledge. He treated me with respect and kindness throughout this process and listened to all my concerns. He's very easy to talk to. I highly recommend Dr. Stuart if you are experiencing difficulties with carpal tunnel syndrome. His staff at OrthoVirginia are all professional and very organized. I was very impressed at the care I have received from Dr. Stuart.

I didn’t know or heard of Dt. Stuart before January 20, 2021. I had a torn bicep tendon. Dr. Stuart gave me my options and I decided surgery was best, and he agreed. From that point on, he explained every step, was very personable, available for questions, and did a great job on my tendon repair!! Thank you Dr. Stuart!

Dr. Stuart is a very competent surgeon. He was understanding of my feelings and presented his findings, my options and long term prognosis. He spoke with me before surgery and eased any nervousness I had. (And he has a great sense of humor!) By the grace of God and Dr. Stuart's God given talents, my wrist is doing wonderfully and I am well on the way to full recovery.

Dr Stuart is an exceptional hand surgeon. He’s thorough, very knowledgeable in his field of expertise, and provides a great service to his patients. If something is not “right with your elbow to fingertip, Dr Stuart is the person to see. His CHT, Ms Danielle Williams is also top-notch in her hand therapy providing a great complementary team to get you back to normal!

Dr. Stuart is one of the most kind, caring and personable doctors I've ever had. He performed carpal tunnel surgery on my right wrist n November of 2019 and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! In addition, I'm an arthritis sufferer and he even makes known painful procedures, like cortisone injections in the thumb, more bearable.

For 3 weeks I was unable to use my right & dominant hand. The pain & disability from the injury to my right thumb kept me from doing the most basic things like brushing my teeth. I was terrified. Dr. Stewart quickly diagnosed & treated my injury. I feel so much better. I realize I may need surgery at a later date, but I’m confident in Dr. Stewart’s judgment & skill. Through the years, the doctors at OrthoVirginia have tremendously improved the quality of my life.

Dr. Stuart checked my elbow for pain issues. He was very thorough, companionate and descriptive during his evaluation and explanation. Once he was able to make an assessment, he explained options and scenarios that other patients have had to allow me to make a desision for future treatment.

I had only 1 visit so I will wait to give a true review. As I have worked in healthcare for over 19 years, trained by NCQA on the importance of coordinator care. I also own a practice, and worked for a 36 site medical practice up north.. I am a little dissapointed that despite being easier for the office to get my test results from my prior specialist, they have asked that I obtain them. Unfortunately we are still waiting. Will update my review once/if I get more data to rate honestly.

Pre-op check for carpal tunnel plus removal of large 'bump' on finger. Dr Stuart x-rayed finger & evaluated wrist. Surgery scheduled. Very thorough.

I went to visit Dr. Stewart because I had tendinitis in my wrist. It was my first time seeing him and he is an amazing doctor. Dr. Stewart was very personable and listened to all my concerns and questions. He gave me a Cortizone shot, and I barely felt it. I recommend him for anyone who has hand or wrist problems.

I saw Dr.Stuart for Ganglion Cysts and bone spurs on three of my fingers. Dr. Stuart is a very knowledgeable man and very through. Dr.Stuart is very kind.
