Dr. Jamie Layne Resnik

Dr Resnick is one of the most uninformed and disengaged doctors I've met. She did not read my pregnant patient file and acted as if it was someone else's job to do so. I had to ASK her to test for preeclampsia în week 32(!!). Preeclampsia is a life threatening pregnancy disease I had developed in the past, and most hospitals have a baseline policy to test (urine, blood) on every visit, not to mention in my case the risk was so much higher, as I had it before! She completely ignored my hyperemesis gravidarum, which is extreme pregnancy sickness. I threw up 4-5 times/day , every day, my entire pregnancy. She told me in one of the sessions that she was herself sick with her own pregnancy, but she still made it to the office! And then she gave me the wrong definition for the disease, claiming it only afects the first trimester. She essentially ignored my entire pregnancy and only became interested once I clearly said to her that I'm unhappy and will make a complaint.. I ended up transferring to another hospital( Sharp) in week 34(!), where I was treated with care, empathy and by knowledgeable doctors. Great team, friendly, diverse, professional and they have clean offices.

Dr. Resnik is amazing! I switched to this practice after having a bad experience at IGO. She is so warm, relaxed, and helpful during the entire process. I barely ever had to wait, and loved the entire practice. Also, delivering at Jacobs is so great, such an incredible Hospital.

One time i visit this doctor for urgency.
