Dr. Kanumilli is the kindest, caring and most professional MD I’ve ever meet. Her office staff is so very friendly and does their best to help their patients. Definitely 5 Stars all the way!!!

I would not suggest anyone to go over there. The staffs are very rude. You will never get a call response even after calling several times.

Try to avoid this place. Trust me do yourselves a favor. The place is not very organized starting with the setup they have. The office is dirty and very crammed. They seem to take more patients than what they can handle in order to make as much money as they can. An example of this is charging you 25 dollars for filling out forms. Other places do this for free. Anyways that's not the only problem. The doctor doesn't seem to care about your health, all they want is charge your insurance and pretent to be your doctor. Don't get mw wrong they have all the credentials to practice medicine but they are so disorganized, don't care about you. My sister needed a college health form to be filled out and they said they'll do it. It took more than a week and if we didn't show up, she would have never fill it out. Just avoid this place. Doctor Kanumilli has been my doctor for 8 years now. She’s always been kind, friendly, thoughtful and even funny! She’s never been rude to me or my sister- who have both been under her care for years now. Side Note That ONE woman (The bad review by There’s Murphy) who has something bad to say about her used my name to get in, didn’t get the drugs she was trying to get and then posted a nasty review about my wonderful doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Kanumilli's for many years and I have always felt her sincerity in taking care of me. Her office and staff have always made my visits very pleasant. I absolutely recommend her!

I had a light chest pain - not so severe - this physician diagnosed and advised I should consult a cardiologist right away. I didn’t take it seriously. Because I used to have slight pain occasionally. After about one week this physician called me and yelled at me for not contacting a cardiologist. She cared about me and strongly advised to contact cardiologist. That saved my life. I contacted a cardiologist right away and I was informed that I had 99% blockage in the heart. Then they performed by pass surgery immediately. This physician saved my life. This physician is efficient, highly talented. Because of this physician I didn’t have a heart attack. My experience with Dr. Kanumilli exceeded my expectations. She was knowledgeable, professional, and patient with me as I explained to her all the unresolved health issues I've had over the years.. causing me to almost loose faith in the health care system. She really listened and made me feel comfortable. I am so happy I have found a Doctor that I feel actually cares about me. I am looking forward to the future in her care. This is my second review, and it is a downgrade from my first glowing review a few years ago. When I first started in Dr. Kanumilli's practice, I found her attentive and caring. My most recent experiences have altered that perception. I'm rarely ill, so I don't see her often, and when I developed a bacterial infection during a cold, her exam lasted under 30 seconds. Ok - I got a prescription and was fine. The HUGE problem was in December 2019 when I scheduled an appointment for surgical clearance. I took the day off, and before I was in the exam room, she told me that I was there too soon prior to my surgery - without even looking at the surgeon's instructions for clearance. Well, she was wrong. Her office told me to reschedule for the week of my surgery, and had I done that, it would have been too late, according to my surgeon and the hospital. Then I booked another appointment on her website that would get the clearance documents to the surgeon on time. I took off yet another day from work, and when I arrived, I was told that she is not in the office during the hours I booked. I had left a check for my co-pay with the front desk after the first attempt, so when I was left frustrated and STILL not seen for my pre-surgical clearance, I asked for my check back. I was told the doctor had it, but I'd get it back. Instead, the doctor had already deposited the check, despite never having examined me. Then I called to ask for the co-pay to be refunded. That never happened. Sleezy, incompetent office management, and the doctor's rushed attitude is inexcusable. Yes, I found another primary care doctor in Forest Hills who made it a priority to conduct my exam and get the clearance documents to my surgeon on time. My advice - stay away from this practice.

Stay away from this place. I had to take half day from work because weekend was full and when I reached the office Doctor had left, even if I followed up 1 hour earlier and the assistant had no clue what she was doing. Dr. Kanumilli basically saved me from having to do unnecessary surgeries requested by other Medical Professionals. I expressed all my concerns regarding my health with her on my initial visit, which she then referred me and got me appointments right away. Ever since then I've trusted her with all my health care decisions. She's on-top on my medications, physical exams etc. Dr. Kanumilli treats me with respect & is always kind. The doctor I used to work for recommended Dr. Kanumilli. Dr. Kanumilli is not professional. She is kind of rude. I strongly believe she "treats" her patients by looking at their insurance. I left my work early to see her because I was really worried about my health issues.I don't think she is caring. She spent 2 minutes with me. I didn't feel comfortable telling issues that I was having. I heard she was talking to her medical assistant at the reception area about my medication I'm taking and my medical condition which is a HIPAA violation . I'm not kidding. I swear to god that what she done to me. I saw she wasn't treating her employees right also.I will not go back to her again. Ashley is not my real name. Dr. Kanumilli is a very professional doctor. She looked into each of my problems and referred me to the doctors that were able to have me properly tested so I could be treated properly. Despite my complaining that I didn't want to take another test, her perseverance and dedication proved effective and a small cancerous tumor was detected early and is being treated now. Also which is very important to me she is a warm person and takes the time to know you and talk to you. I am a nervous patient and for me she is wonderful.
