Dr. Jane M Lynch

Dr. Lynch addressed a concern I had in an unscheduled appointment within 24 hours after calling Shenandoah Dermatology. She diagnosed the problems and prescribed medication quickly. I am very appreciative of the patient care I can count on from Dr. Lynch and her staff.

Always prompt, always polite, always thorough..

I have depended on Dr. Lynch for years to catch any problems from sun damage that might turn into problems. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Lynch is a consummate professional. She is very thorough--never misses a thing, and she is very personable and pleasant besides!

Dr. Lynch is very precessional and on top of my dermatology care, I totally trust and feel comfortable with her care, she listens and answers all questions and always explains everything.

Dr Lynch is very thorough and detail conscious. Her attention to detail identified a melanoma in very beginning stages several years ago. I trust her completely. She saved my life.

Dr. Lunch has helped me take care of my skin since we moved to Virginia 16 years ago. She explains any skin conditions she finds, carefully checks my moles, gives me a printed list of products she recommends for all kinds of things from dry skin to sun protection. Because of her medical care, it would be difficult for anyone to know I have rosacea. I feel safe because she has found and removed several abnormal moles I would never have suspected could be dangerous. Dr. Lynch is thorough and willing to answer any questions I have, though somehow she is also quick and doesn’t keep me there longer than necessary. She’s kind and always asks me about my daughter who was her patient for years until she graduated from college and starting working in N.C. We love and trust Dr. Lynch.

Dr. Lynch always provides very thorough annual exams, covering every inch, from the wart found on the ball of my foot to the benign mole hiding just behind my ear. The office setup and appointment procedures have been well thought through in keeping with current CDC guidelines for the Covid Pandemic.

A supercilious, sanctimonious and icy attitude towards me!

I have never had a worst experience in a doctors office in my life. On my first visit I had a bump on my knee that I wanted removed. She had two different procedures we spoke about them both and decided on one that I would come back in a few weeks and get that taken care of. When I went back she decided to do the one that we decided not to do. And while I was there she asked me the same question three times in one minute and I gave her the same answer three times. So obviously she hasn’t listen to anything I’ve ever said. Her bedside manner is atrocious. I need to have stitches taken out and I’m not going back to have her do it. I will find someone else. I loved the PA that went on maternity leave, then somehow I went for one visit with Dr Lynch and everything has went down hill since. She came in rushed, degrading other drs and was super rude- didn’t take the time to listen- started speculating and assuming before I could finish telling her stuff. She was rude when I would try to say something. After she realized she was coming across offensive she tried to be nicer. Felt like she is a numbers kind of dr. She told me that I’d need a spot removed five weeks ago, I keep calling the office, the staff keep saying we will give you a call back and never do. I have called at least 15 times if not more. I’m suppose to be on medication for my skin condition and arthritis that I can’t take until she gets back to me and hasn’t. The thing that I feel is that people are just a number and they brush them off! Highly skilled and caring professional with great office support!

She has never listened to a thing I have said. She asked me the same question three times within one minute and got the same answer each time. She is rushed and does not seem to care. It’s the worst experience I’ve ever had a doctors office.

I thought it was just me , but as I read these reviews my feeling feel validated. I just left her office crying feeling disrespected And dismissed! And when I ask for clarification , I clearly felt as if I were a Nuisance :(

As other's have stated, Dr. Lynch was extremely rushed on my very first visit. I felt like a rag doll being tossed from side to side. It was weird. She didn't even try to hide how rushed she was. Very bad first impression and I wouldn't ever go back

She is thorough and knowledgable!

My wife and I were her patients for years. She has recently been so rushed that she didn't take time to address our concerns, and even worse, missed some cancer that was quickly diagnosed by another doctor. I'm saying she was talking and moving so fast it was evident she wanted to be elsewhere.

I have been going to Dr. Lynch for years. Her bedside manner and treatment were second to none. However, I get very tense when I go for a appointment now. She seems so rushed I am afraid to ask any questions! And I have a lot! I just pray whatever is making it like this will change. I think she is a great doctor, but she is so different!!

Our family loves Dr. Lynch! She is such a wonderful doctor and person. Her staff is superb!

Staff was great but the Doctor was terrible. My appointment was rushed and she didn't explain anything. All she did was point to a piece of paper and told me to read. Wast of money
