I have seen many doctors over the years, but Dr. Akremi is brilliant, with an almost encyclopedic knowledge about medicine. You know within moments of speaking with someone who knows what she is taking about, and she will find the solution to your problem (even if the last 3 doctors failed to). However, her greatest asset is her compassion. So many doctors ignore you, or seem dismissive, or condescending, or seem in a hurry because they allot 15 minutes per appointment. She will take an hour if that is what is needed. She is friendly, loves to chat with her patients, and above all, she sees your problem as her problem. She feels your pain. She genuinely cares, and it's sad to say, but that is rare trait in this profession. Best doctor I have ever been treated by.
