Terrible overall experience. DO NOT see this doctor!!

Dr. Shah was great. I have no qualms with her directly, which is why my review is receiving any stars at all. The -2 stars is for her staff. Her staff was fine to my face, but when I had to call in because of multiple billing errors, I was greeted with completely unprofessional attitudes. Do you use an answering service? I was repeatedly interrupted, told to, "stop talking," to, "be quiet"; I've fired people for less. Do not speak to patients that way. Your office is being paid a fortune for my 10 minute appointment, get it together. They never follow through with call backs, despite it being marked 'Urgent'. On ONE occasion they just sent a message through the Chart app to avoid calling back altogether. When the office was having something pre-approved by my insurance (something that takes a few days), I had to call back every day over the course of two weeks to find out what was going on. Dr. Shah you are great, but you should be embarrassed by your staff.

My grandmother has been seeing Dr. Shah for years. I take her to most of these appointments and have had the pleasure of getting to know Dr. Shah. She is not only knowledgeable but she's super nice. She not only gets to know the client but has also developed a report with the family as well. All I can say is we're grateful for Dr. Shah.

I was impressed from the moment she walked into the room & said she had reviewed my UCLA medical history. She listened to my description of my heart symptoms & said she would like me to wear a heart monitor for 2 weeks, & then added that the EKG showed no obvious pathology. I also underwent an Echocardiogram. Today she reviewed the results, & explained that I had some rapid beats occasionally but that it was not threatening. She said that I could take a beta blocker, but didn't recommend it. She was very patient & took the time to explain the heart tests, as well as the blood test results. The staff was polite & helpful.

When I had my back surgery in 2018, while in the hospital I had a cardio-tachia event what my heart was racing out of control. She left her UCLA patients around 3 in the afternoon, came to Los Robles Hospital, transferred me to intensive care and gave me the IV that saved my life. Dr. Shah is a great doctor.

She is really a horrible doctor. Far below the standards set by UCLA. I would go as far as saying that she is incompetent. Rude, judgmental, and makes assumptions that are completely wrong. I venture to say that she harms more people than she helps. If you have a choice in your provider, please find someone that cares about your care as much as you do. I am grateful there is karma in this world, and have found a new cardiologist.

Extremely rude and condescending. Does not show any kind of care or concerns for patients, is sharp-tongues and insulting, and is not interested in helping or partnering with patients and colleagues.

Dr. Shah was outstanding; she took the time to listen to my concerns, and she answered all my questions. My appointment was for a second opinion, but in the end I not only got an opinion, but also a new cardiologist.
