Excellent Dentist!

Wonderful dentist who is very skilled. I drive from Spokane to see him for procedures that are more complex and my dentist only offers crowns. The staff is wonderful as well and the whole office has a calming feel. Wish I lived closer he would definitely be my dentist of choice.

I have been extremely happy with our families experience at Live Well Dental. My sons have seen Dr. Chang for a few years and he is so kind, calm and patient with them. I recently had a tooth extracted the the process was exceptional. I have had dental fears my whole life and my hygienist put my worries at ease, she was so kind, caring and amazing. Her and Dr. Chang listened to my concerns, explained the process and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I felt that they genuinely cared about me, my health and experience. I am very pleased with my Dentist, Dr. Chang and my hygienist, Rita. Rita gave me specific instructions 6 months ago on how to brush my teeth more effectively and a baking soda toothpaste. My cleaning today proves her help worked! My gum health has improved. I feel very fortunate to have this team as my dental caregivers. I agree with their natural, minimal invasive methods.

I absolutely recommend Live Well Dental. The staff is always so friendly and personable and really care about you as a person and as a patient. Laura cleans my teeth and her attention to detail while cleaning is so reassuring and it’s nice to know how much she cares. The doctor is also very attentive and friendly. I love how they take extra steps to make sure the environment in your mouth is how it should be by checking PH levels and bacteria levels. I’ve never been to another dentist that has done that. They’re very informative and just overall an awesome group of people. All three of my young children get their check ups done here too and they’ve had great experiences as well! Definitely kid friendly!

Everyone at Live Well Dental is super kind and professional. They love their work and are super knowledgeable about the science behind all dental issues. I love that they test the PH of your mouth and they also check the bacteria in your mouth and let you know if you have more or less of the good and bad bacteria. When they see a problem area in your mouth they very willing to give you strategies and lots of information to help you resolve those problem areas. During the pandemic they are implementing many safety precautions and I felt very comfortable going to the dentist. Dr. Chang and his team are the best!

Chipped my tooth. They worked me in to the schedule within a couple of days. My first time to the dentist since February. So wondered about the new safety rules. They made it quite seamless. Called once I drove up. within a few minutes was in the door. simple temp check and hand washing and I was back in the chair in no time. Dr. and Asst were all masked up. An extra air purifier or two were around. I felt very safe and cared for. and of course the work done was top notch. And I need to mention the front office staff are always very helpful and professional, even when I used the wrong card and they had to redo some things. Thanks!

I would definitely recommend Live Well Dental Center for anyone. Everyone I have dealt with at this office has been very friendly and encouraging. I have been looking for years for a dentist and staff like yours. You think out of the box! When I had my teeth cleaned the other day, I ask Rita to show me how to use my water pick more efficiently. She did and I was able to show my son how to use his better. He just had his teeth cleaned and ask for help, with his water pick, and didn’t get any suggestions. This was another dental office. Even with the new normal related to covid19, the service great. I had some concerns about the symmetry of my bite and Dr. Chang found the problem and made small adjustments to fix the alignment of my teeth. He also found a good solution for re-alignment of a rogue lower tooth. All the while, I got a very good hygienist who carefully cleaned my teeth since the covid19 restrictions didn't allow the high pressure scaler. I would highly recomend the services.

Everything related to my bridge was truly professional, starting with preparation, through the temporary bridge and Covid-19 delays, and ending with the permanent bridge on May 21. It is clear to me that Dr. Chang is a leader in his profession, supported by an enviable team. Bridges seem expensive and mine seemed that way too, until I analyzed what went into a bridge. My conclusion is that the total price was very fair. (As a side issue, I chose to be self-insured for dental work several years ago so payment for the bridge came out of my pocket. When I compared, roughly, what dental insurance would have cost over that period with what I have paid over the same period, my total costs were a bit lower than insurance fees. This makes sense to me.)

I like the dentist, he was very knowledgeable it the lady that does the scheduling after the appointment was impossible to work with and pretty rude. Did not listen and I ended up just not dealing with her and waiting to make my exit appointment with someone who was actually helpful.

Dr. Chang and entire crew at Live Well Dental are top notch. From the moment you walk in the door to your exit the experience is kind, considerate and comfortable. Both my seven year old son with severe sensitivities and myself are patients. Dr. Chang took special care in working on cavities for my son who cannot tolerate nitrous oxide. My son did amazing due to their gentle, efficient and kind approach. I appreciate their dedication not only to natural dental care but to the overall wellness of the patient and the earth. Down to organic coffee and tea in the waiting room combined with compostable cups and an air purifier for the cold and flu season. Truly so grateful for finding them.

Today I had a wisdom tooth pulled by Dr. Chang. He was so kind, and his assistant Tonya (sp?) was so sweet it was actually fun. They explained everything and I can truly say it was painless. I so appreciate a dentist that has you take A-Biotic Garlic instead of an antibiotic, and also has herbal pain relief products available to purchase if wanted. The clinic is sparkling clean and everyone is friendly. I am so glad this dentist was recommended to us. I am encouraging my family and anyone looking for a dentist to go to the Live Well Dental Center. I can't imagine a better place to go.

I have some severe chemical sensitivities that have made me very cautious about even going to the dentist. Dr. Chang has changed things for me. He uses a filtration system that eliminates all those caustic dental office smells and is very careful and thorough in finding out how to best meet my needs in every detail of my dental work. I am so thankful for the level of care that I receive from Live Well Dental. They take great care of my dental/mouth health. They are careful to help me maintain my oral and over-all health by doing all they can to not disturb my teeth unless absolutely necessary. I have two "cute" baby teeth that have hung in for over 50 years and they do everything to keep them strong and in my mouth:) In addition, rather than just drill and fill they approach healing by giving any possible decay a chance to heal on its own. This has been very effective and I am grateful. I highly recommend. Now I am just hopeful that they will clone themselves and have an office farther North:)

As usual, great service, friendly staff, etc. In that regard this is a 5 star dental office. However the new no insurance policy is a PITA. While it is great that you fill out the paperwork and submit for your patients, for those of us with insurance it feels like getting to pay for dental services twice. Once when we pay for insurance and again when we visit the dentist. Mainly you have pushed the burden of dealing with the insurer to your patients, a burden the provider is much better equipped to handle. It is making us strongly consider changing providers as there is no insurance option with your office to avoid this policy. Please reconcile with Delta Dental and return us to the status quo.

Wouln't go anywhere else and wouldn't care how far I had to drive. Such a partnership with patient, staff and Dr Chang..... I have never felt more concern, cared for, listened to, or more options than I have until I started coming here about 5 years ago. I have an autoimmune disease as well as genetici periodontal disease since my early 20's. I am no almost 48 and I have never felt in such good hands and my dental health has never been more stable and with such a simple and consistent routine. I am so happy I found Dr Chang and Living Well Dental. I refer my family, friends and co-workers and can not say enough about the quality of care and communicationI receive. They have given me such encoragement and reduced my dental fears after a lifetime of nothing but dread going to the dentist. I now actually look forward to going to the dentist.

I am very pleased with the office, work and Dr. Pang overall. However, yesterday was odd. I was told due to Dr. Chang graciously coming in to talk with me, my allotted cleaning time was over as the next patient was waiting, therefore, we would finish the polish "some other time." The cleaning of my upper teeth then proceeded very quickly (5 minutes?) Please take into consideration the fact that I also have far fewer teeth than is average. I don't take this personally. Dr. Chang, Melanie and front office staff always treat me with the highest of care! They go out of their way to ensure that I am safe and comfortable. I had a crown replaced and an amalgam removed -- a 2 1/2 hour appointment because they follow safe amalgam removal procedures and my new crown needed to be milled. In no time was I ever in pain; in fact, the appointment went so smoothly, the time just flew! Just an all-around pleasant experience....They use high-tech state-of-the-art tools and procedures and I give them my highest recommendation!!!

After years of unsatisfactory and disappointing experiences with dental care in Seattle, I did an online search for a holistic dentist who is willing to educate & engage the patients in self care. Thankfully, I found Dr Jason Chang and his great team. I had two appts so far and each time I walked away feeling cared for and heard and best of all with a better understanding of how to care for my gums and teeth. Rita, the hygienist was very clued in to my sensitivity with chemicals and didn’t use any antiseptic mouthwash with me. So, despite a deep and thorough cleaning of my teeth, I did’t walk away with more inflammation or headache. I’m so thankful and looking forward to the next visit!!!! I recently had an appointment for impressions and a teeth cleaning. Since the time of my first visit a few weeks ago to address several issues, and this latest appointment, I had interaction with a couple of my other doctors and came up with another option to address a dead tooth. I wasn't supposed to see Dr Jason Chang that day, but he came in anyway to discuss my newest information. I appreciate that he took the time out of his very busy day to discuss a new option that I felt was the least invasive to my body. Also, the dental assistant that took my impressions was very patient with me. I almost couldn't do the upper part of my mouth, for I had a hard time holding back the gagging reflex. Fortunately, we made it. I had a different woman for my teeth cleaning, and again, very professional. While I was having my teeth cleaned, I could put heat and massage in the chair, AND could watch fish and ocean life on the TV. They make it very relaxing and pleasant for the patients. The office is the nicest that I have ever, ever been in. The staff is top notch. I love that instead of paper towels in their very nice restrooms, they use wash clothes. So, they contribute to saving our planet as well.

Fair pricing, no pressure, friendly, will not suggest a procedure you do not need, relaxing atmosphere, with dentists that listens to their customers! Love this practice so much I travel from Everet just to see Dr Chang.

I have been going to your office since Dr. Rafael had it. Always superb and friendly service. Always clear explanations. One time when I came in with a cracked tooth, Dr. Chang took it out painlessly right away. I like--but have forgotten its name--your payment program (two equal payments for the year's service). And--Dr. Chang has a very impressive list of certifications. Very reassuring.

Dr. Chang and his staff provide a low stress environment with a peaceful energy pervasive in the entire office. The combination of competence and compassion for the patient gives confidence in the plan of treatment.

I am a very experienced dental patient, over 70 years. Live Well Dental Center, it's staff, and it's leader (Dr Chang) are the people you will want working in your mouth and helping to keep you healthy. Good location, great facility, you will feel like you belong.

I have absolutely no issues with my dental care here. I am a big chicken about dentists. They are all very kind and know how to make sure I’m not in any pain. Sometimes I start crying just talking about pain and they never bat an eye. Although I sometimes remember what I did there and laugh at it myself. I love these people. If I could replace some people in my extended family with these people, I would. Just kidding. Kind of.

This clinic is proactive. After 20 years with a dentist I trusted, I have found that following the suggestions made by Dr. Chang has improved my dental health. This is a clinic where I always feel welcome. It is difficult to describe but I feel comfortable at this office and I do feel that the doctor and staff care about my health. I had a unique experience yesterday when I had a hearty laugh with the hygienist, Laura. Having fun at a dental office is an unusual event in my history of dental work.
