The most talented orthopedic surgeon in the area!!!!

Our experience with Dr. Guevara was terrible for us! Dr. Guevara came highly recommended. His first words to us after a knee replacement on my husband was "you have a big knee, that's the biggest knee I've ever done. I had to use a size H"! After the 3rd post opt visit his knee still looked like it had a helmet on it. His wife looked at his knee and said "O my God, what happened to your knee? I said "Your husband did surgery on it". Dr. Guevara said well you never came back. His whole countenance changed. Who would have surgery and not go back for their post opt visits? Then he said the lady that worked for him was no longer there and they had no record of him coming back. That did it for us. Another Dr. did confirm that the wrong size was put in his knee. We will never recommend Dr. Guevara to anyone! Raeford, NC

Terrible. Knee replacement was bad. Had to have a total revision.

I have had a Full Left Knee Replacement (7 years ago) & a Full Right Knee Replacement (3 years ago) & a Full Left Hip Replacement (2 years ago) ALL 3 surgeries were done by Dr. Jason Guevara. Each surgery went PERFECT!! Dr. Guevara is an not only an OUTSTANDING Surgeon he is also a Godly man that truly cares for his patients and wants only the best for them. I would highly recommend Dr. Guevara to anyone that has knee or hip problems; he is the BEST Orthopedic Surgeon anywhere!!!

I recently had a right total hip replacement done By Dr Jason Guevara. The surgery was perfomed at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst in January 2019. Before surgery my foot pointed at about 1 o'clock. It now points at about 2:30, about a 30 degree difference . It's very uncomfortable to walk. I have a stabbing pain with each step, my hip hurts and I'm experiencing lower back pain. It's not getting better and I'm developing a limp. I am very pleased with the care that I have receiygrom Dr Guevara. He has followed me for knee care for the the past three years. I would recommend Dr G to anyone with hip or knee pain. He is the best in the business.

I recently had a total hip replacement done with Dr. Guevara and I am totally pleased with the outcome..I experienced no post-surgical pain, and am currently completing physical therapy. His entire staff was excellent in making you feel comfortable and cared for. Thru Dr. Guevara's direction I and skill I now have the ability to do the things I want to do including exercise, golf, and traveling pain-free. I would highly reccomend Dr. Guevara to anyone needing hip-surgery.

My new knee is amazing! No pain after surgery or pain pills needed. Was up and walking as soon as I woke up. Everybody else's patients were drugged up. Not me. Walking with the therapist right after. Back playing golf and gardening.

Dr. Guevara has performed 2 total hip replacements in a little over 13 months. I could not have gotten better medical care. The staff at Pinehurst Orthopedic is second to none. I have and will continue to recommend his medical care to everyone.

I am so incredibly thankful to Dr Guevara for my two new total hip replacements. My surgeries went without complications and my recovery time was excellent due to the exceptional skills of this amazing surgeon. Highly recommended.

Dr. Jason Guevara is a highly competent, experienced orthopedic surgeon. He replaced my knee in November 2017, and I am pain free for the first time in years. I chose him because of recommendations from friends who had great outcomes with their surgeries that he performed. His practice is evidenced based, using proven techniques. I worked hard in Physical Therapy after my surgery. I now have the same great outcome that I heard about. I would enthusiastically recommend him.

Extremely talented surgeon!!! Best in the nation as far as I am concerned. My total knee replacement was PAIN FREE for the first few days. No pain medications needed thanks to nea thing he does during surgery.

Dr Guevara replaced my right knee the end of November 2017. I had a great experience with him and the entire staff. Wait times were minimal. Dr. Guevara spent time with me answering all my questions. He is a very conservative doctor (which I appreciate) making sure every aspect of my surgery/follow up care is taken care of. I had very little pain from surgery and back on the golf course/gym in January 2018. Closely follow his instructions with aftercare and you'll do as great as I did.

Dr. Guevara is the best orthopedic surgeon anywhere. He is direct and explains things clearly, but he does not sugar-coat information. He listens to patients and works on the problems that bother them. Most important, his work is based on evidence of best practices! His methods are proven to be the most effective available. I had two knees replaced and one hip. After the hip, I was pain-free for the first time in 20 years! I recommend Dr. G to anyone who needs knee or hip surgery.

Dr. Guevara has replaced both of my knees, one 13 years ago and the other 8 years ago. I have had excellent care and results from his surgery. I am 63 years old and fully active, playing sports, running and doing almost any activity with ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Guevara.

Dr. Guevara was my first choice for knee replacement surgery after researching all the orthopedic surgeons in our area. What impressed me the most was his use of cutting edge technology and aftercare treatment. He took time to explain what the procedure would be like and his office staff was great in making the arrangements for the surgery and aftercare. My subsequent visits for annual checkups are reassuring and the surgery has been a total success. I give him 5 stars!

I am 75. I had total right knee replacement two weeks ago today. I am walking on my own no walker, no cane. This is my third major surgery by Dr. Guevara. He is the best. You cannot find a better surgeon or person. My extreme knee pain is gone. This is the first time I can walk pain free in months.

Dr. Guevara is a very skilled orthopedic surgeon specializing in knees/knee replacement. Have had both of mine replaced by him. Would highly recommend him, He is personable with excellent qualifications.

Dr. Guevara did a partial knee replacement several years ago and it was a great experience I never had a problem and its still doing very well. I had friends who had knee replacements by Dr. Guevara and had high praise for this doctor. I came to him because of that and am very pleased with his care. I would recommend anyone looking for an orthopedic surgeon to go to him.

Dr. Guevara has replaced two knees for me, I came to him barely able to walk due to the pain. He answered all my questions regarding procedure, recovery time and what I had to do to be well again. Today I walk pain free, no limp, no indication of the problems I had. My annual visits are a celebration of Dr. Guevara's excellent surgery and the new pain free me!

Dr. Jason Guevara is a talented GREAT Orthopedic Surgeon!! Dr. Guevara has performed 3 joint replacements, a Total Left & Right Knee Replacement and a Total Left Hip Replacement. All 3 surgeries went great!! I have not had any trouble with my 3 joint replacements. My surgeries were complicated and I truly believe that if not for Dr. Guevara I would not have had such successful surgeries. I would highly recommend Dr. Guevara for anyone that needs an excellent Orthopedic Surgeon.

I regained all the mobility I had lost after having Dr. Guevara replace both knees. Recovery was very good and I felt it was due to his skill.

Excellent orthopedic surgeon. He has done two knee replacements for me and a partial knee replacement for my husband. We both had excellent results and we're back to our normal activities in a short time. We highly recommend Dr. Guevara.

MY HUSBAND SONNY BAILEY HAD BOTH KNEES DONE BY DR. GUEVARA AND DID WONDERFUL. HE HAS A GREAT PERSONALITY AND GREAT BEDSIDE MANNER. I NORMA BAILEY HAVE BEEN SEEING HIM FOR MORE THAN TWO YEARS. WE WOULD NEVER CONSIDER SEEING ANT OTHER DR. NOTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY ABOUT HIM. HE IS GREAT.

I have had Dr. Guevara do a partial replacement on one knee and meniscus surgery on another and both times I had no issues. Recovery time was excellent, he took care to ensure that I rehabbed properly, and best of all I have quality of life again. What I liked was that he tried everything before we decided on doing surgery. I trust him.

I first went to Dr. Guevara in March, 2017, for severe left knee pain. He wanted to try everything he could do, BUT cut, first. His treatments worked well for 6 months, but by September, he decided I needed to have my knee cleaned-out. So he performed a "left knee arthroscopy, with partial medial & lateral meniscectomy." I now use a heel wedge in my left shoe, to shift my weight to the "good" side of my knee, and the last 4 months have been totally pain-free. So far, so good.

Dr. Guevara did knee replacements on both of my knees. One in June 2013 and another one in February 2015. He did an excellent job and recovery was smooth. I would recommend him to anyone. His Office Staff is the most pleasant group of people. You are made to feel welcome by ALL there. The office is a VERY pleasant atmosphere.

Dr. Guevara's bedside manner is lacking. He has done 3 surgeries on my knees, 2 on the same knee, and I'm almost bedridden now. He told me he will amputate my leg before he does another surgery on it. I would have gladly dealt with pain than to have very limited mobility now. I wanted to go to another physician for a consult, & his office gave me a very hard time in obtaining my medical records. Almost a month later, I received a cd for the money I paid for medical records, & no paperwork.

Be forewarned! This doctor is arrogant, condescending and does not try conservative medicine first. This doctor will "Always" say there is no choice but surgery. I went to another specialist without mentioning my diagnosis by Dr Guevara. The orthopaedic specialist told me that I had mild arthritis and suggested replacing the hydrochloric fluid in my knee, that I was losing, which was causing the pain. The replacement shots are done in office and take minutes without pain.

Dr. Guevara is the best orthopedic surgeon I've ever been to. He's a Fellowship Trained Total Joint specialist with over 20 years experience. Many of my friends have been to him after receiving poor orthopedic care at their previous doctors and many of them only receiving a "bandaid" type treatment. Only when seeing Dr. Guevara did we all finally get our answer. In my case, I was told I had a bad back for over 3 years when in actuality, I had a bad Hip that needed a replacement. He's terrific

For all his years of experience, ego and pride blind him to diagnosing complications directly resulting from surgery he performed! Doctor at Duke looked at x-rays (taken at Dr. Guevara's office) and surgery notes/report from Dr. Guevara and diagnosed my problem before seeing me! Pride can be a dangerous thing when it blinds us, and Dr. Guevara is full of it!
