Jeffrey E Gittins

Dr. Jeffrey Gittins was friendly and explained my surgery completely to my understanding. He always greeted me with a smile and caring tone of voice. Answered all my questions, even the silly ones. Post-op follow ups were easily scheduled and never had to wait long to be seen (+/- 10 minutes).

The staff were all very attentive and professional. Dr. Gittins had several people in tow that he didn’t introduce. It felt very much like he had decided what was wrong before coming into the room or talking to me at all. He was dismissive and as he was leaving I was trying to get my concern out he spoke over me and said “no dear” then reiterated his diagnosis. It was a complete waste of my time and I’m still in pain.

Dr Gittins was very professional and caring and gentle while I was in pain. He has a great bed side manner, and spoke to me in normal terms, so I could understand him. Great Dr. And surgeon.

Dr. Gittins is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and just “gets” his patients. He has helped me through several running related injuries, and I would recommend him to anyone experiencing foot/ankle issues.

I had broken my left foot and went to see Doctor Jeffrey Gittins. He is a very caring Doctor. He listen to what you have to say. I have went from a full boot in med February to the beginning of June. He always made sure it was healing. Now I'm in a sling brace and will start physical therapy soon.I have let a friend know about him and their office. I’d like everyone considering to go here for treatment to read how I was treated, and my previous review was removed. I will continue to add this every time it’s removed to protect others from be treated this poorly After our last conversation of you basically calling me a liar I thought about it, your practice has now went from saying I had 3 different types of injuries to you then saying yesterday that I never had a problem with my 5th metatarsal and that that previous X-ray I sent was bogus. Well here is a very clear X-ray with the date, my name & birthdate, and a clear image of the screw that had to be placed into my 5th metatarsal because it was a very common Jones fracture that your practice negligently ignored. I know what all my notes had said previously from conversations with your staff and my physical therapist who was confused why the notes said a sprained ankle. Either way you and your practice are completely wrong and the absolute worst care possible and the vibe from Dr. Gittins was very rushed and obviously neglected to pay attention to anything I said or the original X-ray when he said in front of his intern “ you have a break in there that’s healing but you’ll be fine in 10 days” I repeated this ridiculous comment when I was making a follow up appointment for 12 days later with Dr. Gittins clerk. Then 12 days later Dr. Gittins says I have a ankle sprain. 5 days later I’m told now I have a broken calcaneus, then back to you saying nothing was wrong with my 5th metatarsal. It’s crazy to me that you dared to challenge and argue with me after all these FACTS. I firmly feel that instead I deserve an apology for the negligence and inaccurate multiple diagnosis I’d like everyone considering to go here for treatment to read how I was treated, and my previous review was removed. OrthoNeuro is Great! I have had both knees replaced, and neck surgery. Can’t say enough good things!

Dr.Gittins is just a first rate guy. He gets to the point yet keeps the situation calm. I don’t like to dance around the problem and neither does he. I appreciate that. No BS and I’m treated in an intelligent way. Perfect!

Felt rushed, very rushed. Made it clear I had a broken bone in my foot and was told I’d be fine in 10 days, I go back in 12 days and I’m getting fitted for a ankle brace. They took great care of me, were kind and knowledgeable. Very high-end services.

Had an issue with communication with provider along with provider’s staff post surgery. The surgery went alright but post surgery , I felt a lot of things were rushed along with staff being rude towards family members. Also, requested the Va to help and the providers office did not communicate well with va and had to pay for medications and gear out of pocket especially post surgery. It’s a shame because this has been planned for years and I felt there was a lot of finger pointing and not much resolution. Sad that being both a combat wounded veteran along with being a first responder, I would be treated equally like everyone else but felt kinda blown off or dismissed. All of the staff at the facility has been wonderful, always very kind and helpful. The facility is always clean. And can I tell you? Dr Jeffrey Gittins has been fabulous! He is always patient with me and he takes the time to listen. He responds with thorough explanations to help me understand what is happening with my body. He has been great at helping me to get healed. I did not want to comment until I had enough experience with him and their facility. I have been going there every 2 weeks since Sept 25 2021 and I feel like that has been enough time to make an evaluation of him and the facility. Heal well everyone! I would say go see Dr jeffrey Gittins's if you need knees and such he has took time to care for me over the yrs he is one if not the best knee doctor Not to take anything away from his brother who also does good work thank you again looking forward to a speedy recovery

Every thing has been top notch. All the staff has been very professional and very attentive to my concerns and questions. I have felt very confident in Dr. Gittins' care of my situation. Totally satisfied.

Everyone was nice and friendly I felt comfortable.

Dr. Gittens is efficient, explanatory, and has great bedside manner.

Felt much more confident in diagnosis. And I have not been wrong, I am getting better and feel I made a wise decision in finding a new physician.

Provided 2 surgical reports and xrays on appointment explaining conditions of my left foot. Dr Gittins sent me for and xray. Upon return he looked at my foot and stated that he wanted me to ware a support sock for three weeks after leaving a staff member came in and pulled a casting sock out and gave it to me to wear. A casting sock is not a support sock and will do nothing to help my foot. I felt Dr Gittins was more concerned about getting to other patients than helping me. He is not the Dr to correct my problem. Very engaging, asked my son questions and listened to all answers. Highly recommend Dr. Gittins. Staff was excellent on getting my son in on short notice.

Dr. Gittens and his staff are wonderful, efficient and I highly recommend. My daughter sustained a concussion and thought a day or two of rest would be all she needed. Dr. Gittens was patient and able to relate to her at a level for her to understand the seriousness of the concussion and the symptoms she was experiencing.

My daughter recently had a foot injury while playing volleyball. We were set up with Dr. Gittins and we have been very happy with him. This is her senior yr and we were so afraid she would be done for the season. Dr Gittins has been honest, yet gentle with her when letting her know everything that’s going on. Have been seeing Dr Gittens for going on 2 years. Many foot issues due to prior poor orthopedist. Dr Gittens has been extremely proactive in helping to manage pain without surgery. Just having had surgery on my foot by Dr Gittens, I’m am so thankful for his constant support, being able to schedule appointments quite easily, getting into see him with no problems, the incredible care by everyone working with him. Ashley, who schedules, and much more!, is incredible also. Extremely grateful I have Dr Gittens taking care of myself and crummy foot

This is a fantastic, top notch practice! Dr. Gittins is very knowledgeable about his profession. He very kind and courteous as well! He made myself and my husband very comfortable. An urgent care dr and radiologist both said my sons growth plate was broken. Dr gittins said it wasnt. When we went for our follow up we didn't even get to see him. Some woman came in. Hard to leave a good review for someone We seen 1 time and couldnt even ask questions to HIM when we went back. And he was there because we seen him.

My PC Dr referred me to jeffrey G after a fall at home outside, after 4 days went to OH ER, Pickerington, yep, had a concussion, & fractured ankle, so, he definitely confermed it!! Seen him 2xs as new patient, continuing care with him!; I trust him, & like him, he even looks you in the eyes, when he talks to you!! Fractured my ankle after a fall at home. Dr. Gittins was recommended by Pickerington ER. Got in to see him 2 days later and was informed that surgery would be needed. I was very pleased with the doctor and how he explained everything and why he would be doing a procedure and everything that is possibly going to happen. After 3 surgeries and 2 doctors he made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone needing a specialist or an ortho doctor.

Was not allowed to be with brother in facility,even after explaining that he was mentally challenged.My reason for going there was to have a specialist look at his feet and find out what we could do to get him better after being to Urgent care and foot doctor with no good results.He has to go back to work in August, 8 HR shifts and doesn't think he. Service with Jeffrey Gittins was below standard was given an release with injury still hurting full release and was told find a disability doctor for future care "he's my doctor " I feel this was below standards for treatment, because he was retaliating against my wife who protested his treatment of care because we are black. He did not respond to my concerns of pain and discharged me without even filling out my return to work form completely. This doctor has no regard for black people and their need of pain management. He doesn't care about black patients and retaliates against them when questioned. He believes that black people don't feel pain like white folks. Now that he has been paid, he discarded us as thrash.
