My daughter went to him for a year and she also said he was mean and yelled at her and kept telling her to stop moving when she was trying to tell him it hurt. She was 3.5 at the time. Now she has a spacer from them and it's falling out and hurting her everyday.. and they changed their number so I can't get ahold of them...

He doesn’t even deserve one star. My experience with this dentist was over 10 years ago. I took my son to him because he was a pediatric dentist, and with those credentials, I assumed he would be good with children. This could not be farther from the truth. I remember it like it was yesterday, and I still carry so much guilt of having taken my son to this man. During the procedure, I was not allowed back with my nervous little boy. I sat anxiously in the waiting room. I could hear my son quietly crying then I could hear Dr. Goldenberg’s angry voice yelling at my son with these words....verbatim....”This is MY house!!!!!” He forcefully tried to make my terrified son lay still! I remember this doctor as a child. He was very mean to me and my siblings. He would use strong physical restraints for no reason and he yelled often. He was not culturally diverse. This was over 30 years ago. I sure hope he finds something he enjoy instead of something he is “good at doing” when he retires.

I love this dr he was great with my son on his 1st appt and he let me and my husband go in the back with him... I told him my son was very scared of drs and he did great with him..

Dr Goldenberg was pleasant and had a nice manner with my kids. I was welcome to wait out front or come into the treatment room with my kids.

One of the worst doctor and worst staff.

Dr. Goldenberg is not good with children, my daughter never had an issue at her previous dental office, Dr. Goldenberg yelled so loud at my 6yr old I could hear him in the waiting room! He has no patience & he's very unprofessional. My daughter was traumatized by this experience.

The dentist and staff are very pleasant, yet I was very disappointed at the doctors rush for oral surgery on children under 5. Baby teeth that will eventually fall out especially, don't need 8 root canals in a hospital setting. After experiencing this with my son who was 4 at the time, and then this was his option for my 1-1/2 year old, I never went back. This is a doctor has no qualms about doing general surgery in a hospital on babies whose teeth eventually fall out. Nice doctor. Quiet. They genuinely care about the kids and what they do. Kind of far for me. The room set up is not quite what I would expect or am used to. The one thing that is hard for me is that their dental surgery is done out at Outer Dr. And since you have to get there very early in the morning, I'm not comfortable driving out there with just me and my daughter. I think that is the one thing that keeps me from wanting to go back, but that's it. Otherwise, I think the reviews are interesting. Just keep in mind, everyone is different and how they relate to a doctor can be different from how another might relate to the same doctor. Give them a chance. This doctor is terrific. He's seen my kids at 2, 4, and 6, and they all had fine appointments. I was a bit surprised that I was not allowed back with my kids. That said, there was no negative feedback whatsoever from the kids, and that (and the quality of the care) is what's important. I also had a dental surgery and was not pleased to be at Sinai Grace at 6 AM. Again, though, this turned out fine. They got everything done with no hassle and I was home before noon. This was the worst experience we have ever had at a dentist! Ours was very similar to another review here from 5 years ago. Our experience happened about 10 years, but it was so awful we will never forget it. Even though I requested, they would not let me be in the room (for my young son) and told us that during the appointment (his first ever), he could ask for me and they would bring me in. After my son came out red faced, crying and scared like nothing I've seen, he told me that he repeatedly asked for me, but they refused to come and get me. My son also said the Dr. yelled at him, a harmless 4 year old. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! We are a general practice and we refer patients to this great office! Children get pain free treatment and quality care. Parents should trust the Dr. & Staff with the patient, they staff is very experienced and caring in regards to dental treatment. Pre and Post care is very important to the parents and this office understands that, in order for the SAFEST care, parents should not be in the room for X-Rays. In some cases, not even in the room because the staff knows how to prepare the child for the upcoming procedures. I'm sure that the Dr & Staff do not mind spending time answering questions/concerns.
