my visits are brief and to the point...he checks to make sure how you ate healing after surgery.

Dr. Liebmann has a great way of explaining complicated issues to patients. He is caring and has a calm and compassionate demeanor. He also is clearly an expert in his field. I am very grateful for his care.

Dr. Jeffrey Liebmann is a superb, reassuring surgeon. I never for once doubted that I was in the best hands for my eye surgeries that have been ever so successful.

Dr. Liebmann is a terrific doctor, but his office is the most poorly-run operation of any medical office that I have ever experienced. When you try to make an appointment, you are put on hold indefinitely. There is no online portal to make an appointment. When you have an appointment time, you are made to wait for an hour after that time. Clearly he and his staff have no idea how to run a practice efficiently and in a manner that respects the patient's time.

I used to bring my daughter to Dr Liebmann many years ago. We feel very confident in his care and always appreciate his professionalism.

I have been wit Dr Liebmann since 2019 and will keep this connection as time goes by, he is always busy since around 6 am early morning checking each patient but always patient and knowledgeable on questions I raise, I feel calm and comfortable each time I visit.

He is the "Master" of Glaucoma in NYC. In addition, he is staff is very nice, professional and extremely responsive. You feel like they have your back in all the process related with this desease .

Except for the curt and unsympathetic woman who did the visual field test the staff - medical and para-medical - were polite informative and reassuring. The ophthalmology fellow who took the initial history and reviewed the pictures of the retina was top notch. She was informative and kind. Dr Liebmann himself appeared very competent and was clear as a bell in describing my problem (which fortunately turned out to be benign), its cause and the follow up. I came in at 7 AM and was out by 9 AM and the whole operation was smooth as a well oiled machine. I would strongly recommend this doctor but - a minor note - their HR department should counsel the woman who does the field test about how to communicate better with patients. Dr Liebman has been treating me for glaucoma and is doing An excellent job in stabilizing my vision. In my view, he is the best ophthalmologist in the NY metropolitan area. He is a brilliant doctor and an expert surgeon. He takes excellent care of his patients. He is also down to earth and completely responsive to any questions. I give him the highest possible recommendation and very glad I am his patient.

I am sorry I ever went to see Dr. Liebmann. Terrible bedside manner. Performed eye surgery that didn’t work and made the condition worse. Wish I had read reviews before I became a patient.

He runs his office like an assembly line; one of which operated in the 1920’s. It’s not about the patient, it’s about how many can be shepherded through in any given day. His bedside manners don’t exist. His arrogance is beyond rapprochement and it only gets worse when he is admonished by one of his peers. He takes no responsibility for his mistakes and will defend himself in any way he sees fit. I lost my eyesight in my good eye due to his negligence and ten months later I am still having surgeries to remediate his mistakes. Thank goodness for the doctors at Lennox Hill

You can pay to make the top doctor list apparently. I’d stay away from this practice. Very unprofessional and they don’t care about follow ups or the patient’s well being.

Highly recommended. Skilled doctor, compassionate, kind, and above all, extremely knowledgeable and professional.

A couple of prior doctor visits (to different doctors) had positioned me as a glaucoma suspect. I therefore set out to find the most experienced glaucoma expert in NYC to diagnose and (potentially) treat me, and rather quickly discovered Dr. Liebmann. I was thoroughly impressed with his qualifications, which lead me to book the appointment, which I received within a week's time. My examination was thorough, and lasted for several hours, with a wide range of tests administered by Dr. Liebmann and his fellows. Ultimately, I was thankfully cleared of glaucoma suspicion, with the results given to me at the end of my visit. If I hadn't been, I would unquestionably have stuck with Dr. Liebmann for treatment. It's rare to find a doctor who is as knowledgeable and authoritative, yet compassionate as Dr. Liebmann, and I can't recommend him highly enough. Dr. Liebmann, is a highly knowledgeable, authoritative, trustworthy and compassionate doctor. After a recent "glaucoma suspect" scare initiated by my two previous doctors, Dr. Liebmann oversaw a comprehensive suite of glaucoma tests for me, which lasted for more than two hours. The tests cleared me of glaucoma suspicion (to my great relief). Given Dr. Liebmann's extensive expertise in glaucoma, and given the severity of the disease, he was the obvious choice for me. I can't recommend him enough!

I had been going to Dr Liebmann for many years for my glaucoma. He has operated on me five times. He is very caring and and explains what is going on with me. The only negative I have to say is that sometime the waiting period in his office can be long. I have moved up to Connecticut and Dr Liebmann recommended a doctor near me who I am now satisfied with.

Very soft spoken, caring and approachable doctor

Based on credentials he seems to be a good one but overshadowed by the long wait (longest I have experience at a doctor's office, between 21/2-3 hrs.!), very minimal doctor-patient interaction and below average, non-caring medical staff.
