Dr. Jeffrey Nathanson

Dr Nathanson is a very caring and personable doctor. He explains things well, and really seems to know his patients. We followed him to his new practice.

I went for my screening. Emails sent prior to procedure, calls were returned promptly, instructions were clear, staff greeted me. Dr. Nathanson introduced himself and explained the procedure. I felt comfortable, procedure went well. I was offered a healthy snack after the procedure, nice touch. Good location, pleasant surgical area, knowledgeable staff. And great hospital gowns!

I went to Dr. Nathanson for my first colonoscopy. Every aspect of the process was excellent, from the initial scheduling to the emailed instructions that began a week prior to the procedure. He and his staff have a warm and informative bedside manner, and he even works with anesthesiologists who are calming and knowledgeable. I was able to choose what mode of preparation I could do the night before. The procedure itself went very smoothly, and I will be using his practice again in the future for follow-up appointments and procedures.

Dr. Nathanson is brilliant, and so relatable. I feel like I'm in the best possible hands, which is priceless.

He provided very helpful suggestions and was open minded to all options including alternative option…like meditation and hypnotherapy. Dr. Nathanson is an awesome G.I. doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and genuinely cares. He takes a comprehensive approach to treatment and is not focused on drugs alone, but overall wellness (weight/diet/sleep, etc.) to improve G.I. health.

Excellent caring Dr. Over thirteen years of his service we never had a problem with the G-tube done by him. We see him only when the tube is really worn out or if the balloon had deflated already. Which only happens once a year or even over a year before the tube needs to be replaced. Highly recommend him! Great Doctor!!

Caring & professional

Six years ago, my father, a healthy man in his late 80s, had a colonoscopy done by Nathanson. He discovered a tumor, which was read as benign. We found out later through competent GI docs in this group and surgeons that it came back benign only b/c samples couldn't be taken from the bottom of it. He advised leaving it in and watching my Dad's hemoglobin. Well now, 6 years later, my dad is NOT healthy for surgery, and he is bleeding non stop from this tumor that was cancer. So Nathanson killed my Dad by not offering surgery to remove the tumor when he could have, and failed to get a 2nd opinion or talk to a surgeon. He could never do enuf to make up for killing my WW2 hero, kind, loving father. He should be fired asap. What is so sad is that my Dad always has done EVERYTHING to stay healthy, right now he is in the hospital doing his exercises, without knowing he is about to die due to Nathanson.

Wonderful care. A great combination of professionalism and caring. Good doctor and good person.

I am an old man who needs a lot of medical help. Between me and my wife, we see a variety of doctors. This is the first, and I am afraid, the only letter of thanks I wrote to a medical doctor. I want to thank Dr. Nathanson for the care he bestowed on me for many months.

I have seen many GI doctors for Crohns and I am amazed by how personalized dr nathanson's approach has been. He spent a significant about of time understanding my medical history and current situation. He is in incredibly knowledgable about treatment options and the complexities of Crohns (not just the GI aspect). I'm so glad I found him. He is a treasure and it's a relief to know I'm in good hands.
