Dr Smerage is the best! I was so scared and he ALWAYS was so confident that I'd get better and in convincing me of that, it actually helped my recovery! I drive 200 miles to see him, it's so worth it. He is caring, sincere, kind and very intelligent. I highly recommend both him and his team mate, Nurse Practitioner, Kelly. Both great people.

He was very thorough and took his time and explained things and welcomed questions. Besides which he is extremely professional but warm and caring as well. I came to him as a second opinion and I knew about halfway through our discussion I wanted to switch and have him be my new oncologist. I'm very glad I did. I highly recommend him.
