Dr. Vrielink was compassionate and knowledgeable. He takes the necessary time to understand my concerns and conditions and work with me on a healthy approach. He listened to my questions and provided clear answers. I highly recommend him!

He will keep it real with you, but you can tell he cares by showing an interest in how your life is going followed with advice on how to overcome any obstacles you feel are holding you back.

I appreciate Dr. Vrielink's appraoch to psychatriatry. I have met other psychatrists and nurse practioners who were not willing to listen. Dr V listens to my concerns and while we talk about meds he offers some counseling. His counseling during my med reviews has helped me grow in my profession as a teacher. I have found his integration with Christianity and psychatriaty to be beneficial. Before when I saw other physicans, even if the meds seemed to be right, the lack of counseling left me hopeless. Dr. V acts like a mentor in which he listens to my concerns, he's empathetic and he helps me problem solve. I also appreicate doctors who share a bit about themselves like their hobbies, it makes them see more human. The fact he shares some information about himself, he's empathetic, caring, truly listens and helps me problem solve makes him the right doctor for me. By talking about faith it gives me hope. I feel safe talking with him and my mental health has greatly improved.

Dr. Vrielink is excellent. Very professional and listens to find the root of the problem. I would recommend Dr Vrielink . I feel safe and protected in his care. He also has a very caring staff.

He was condescending, arrogant and intimidating. He calls himself a Christian but is a strict fundamentalist who implied I was going to hell. Avoid him at all costs. He has no business being in practice.

Dr. Vrielink is an excellent doctor. He is compassionate and truly cares about the well being of his patients, which is evident in the time that he takes to get know you and to listen to you during your office visit. Having a doctor who utilizes your feedback instead of pushing multiple prescriptions in your hand while pushing you out the door has been a wonderfully new experience. Yes, Dr. Vrielink has a strong faith in God, but he does not push it onto you. As someone who shares faith in God, it is great to have a doctor that has encouraged that faith for healing. I have never been to a doctor who is more professional, more caring, and more respectful of me as a person than Dr. Vrielink.

Excellent! Educated and trustworthy. His personality reflects the country and culture he was raised in but his faith and heart and care shine through. I drive over an hour to see him. I trust his wisdom and advice. You can too.

Very kind and compassionate doctor. Goes above and beyond. Advocates for his patients and helps others to understand. Not shy about sharing his faith which made him a good match for us.

We have been with Dr. Vrielink for two years and have been pleased with the care we have received. He is very caring and compassionate. We had not been with a psychiatrist, only a nurse practioner and we were not getting the help we needed. Dr. Jeff needed to start over with meds. and it took awhile for things to get evened out. Dr. Vrielink takes time to listen to you and treats you as a whole patient. He goes an extra mile to help you with medications and insurance issues. He calls you back when you leave a message and resolves problems quickly.

I came to Dr Vrielink after my psychiatrist moved to Zeeland. I saw my first Dr for over 5 years until he moved out of area. When I came to Veritas, Dr Vrielink taught me about my disorder and about each med I was on. He cares about his patients~ each and every one. I highly recommend Dr V.

Dr. V will take the time to get you know you as an individual and is always looking for ways to improve your treatment plan. I am not very religious and he is respectful of that. He is very thorough with explaining the science behind your diagnosis and is happy to answer questions.
