My wife and I are retired and recently moved to Forsyth from El Paso, Texas. One of the stresses involved with moving at our age is anxiety about finding good doctors. We were referred to Dr. Goodwin by my wife’s cardiologist. We made an appointment, promptly received extensive medical history paper work and then had our first appointment yesterday. We were so impressed with every aspect of our visit. Dawn and Ashley, the front office people are extremely courteous and efficient and Dr. Goodwin is amazing. He sat with us for over an hour going over our history and getting to know us. It was obvious that he had actually read our medical history and was eager to help us get all our concerns and needs met. We were also impressed by the Covid 19 precautions they took including having us wait in our vehicle until a consultation room was available. Dr Goodwin is a caring doctor. He explains the procedures and is very thorough in his examination and recommendations. He knows medicine. does not guess and takes his patients care personally. He will make the best decisions concerning your health. He is trustworthy and will take time to make you feel comfortable. My Family thanks him for his level of professionalism and service. Goodwin is a great doctor...IF you can get in to see him. I am one of his patients and the last 3 times I have tried to see him - no open appointments for a week...time to change doctors.

Dr. Goodwin is wonderful been my physician for over 11 years. Will do what's need for his patients to get answers and better. Only problem is trying to get in at a reasonable time for the situation.

Dr. Goodwin and his wife are timely, curteous and a patient-led practice. I brought in a most dfficult patient and rather than turning the patient away they treated the client with utter respect, dignity and faith. I am a mental health professional, and specialist in grief and have extensive medical training as well. They are superlative in dealing with unusual and multi-faceted issues or cases. We are blessed to have this practice available in Middle Georgia.

As an RN, I have been around numerous doctors. Dr Goodwin sits down, looks you in the eyes & listens. He is very easy to talk to, about anything. He takes his time & makes sure you fully understand what he is saying. He welcomes questions & you don't ever feel rushed. No diva personality, Dr. Goodwin is very down to earth. My husband & I live in Lizella & have been going to Dr. Goodwin for nearly 6 years. He is well worth the drive. 10 star MD with a great staff.

Patient for many years. However, have had trouble getting by staff to see him....many times. Today I was 25min late for annual and was sent away because he was too busy (waiting area had 1 other person in it) another time it took 2+weeks for appointment because I was passing a stone and wanted relief. Sadly, he's in charge of how his staff treats you. Going elsewhere.....

Excellent doctor. Listens! Been my doctor 9 years never has let me down. Goes beyond what is asked. Staff is some of the best.
