About Dr. Jeremy James Mccormick
Reviews for Dr. Jeremy James Mccormick
Dr. McCormick is kind, always patient and an incredible surgeon. He respects his patients and treats them by listening and HEARING their concerns and questions. When we arrived for my husband's first appointment, Dr. McCormick quietly, professionally explained the surgery ahead. He tenderly treated his foot and gave us confidence in his professional competence. The outcome is amazing...! A new normal is ahead thanks to Dr. McCormick's skilled surgery.
Great- Dr. McCormick set surgery expectations and associated rehab timelines that were met- you cannot expect anything more
Dr. McCormick is the preeminent foot surgeon in the St. Louis area. He has performed reconstructive surgery on both of my feet within 16 months of one another and I could not be happier with the results. His bedside manor is incredible, he asks questions, explains procedures and outcomes and is thorough and realistic about setting expectations.
Dr Jeremy McCormick is an excellent physician. I came to him referred by a family member. After shattering my ankle to pieces and having went through five surgeries, I found Dr McCormick. I was in excruciating pain daily! I couldn't walk or stand for long periods of time. Dr McCormick is professional, explained my options, and performed my last surgery. I am now, for the first time since my injury, pain-free! I do not have a limp, I have my life back! I owe so much to Dr. Jeremy McCormick. He's kind, smart and caring. My only problem with him.....he's a Cubs fan. I'll try and convert him to the Cardinals!
Dr Jeremy McCormick is an excellent physician. I came to him referred by a family member. After shattering my ankle to pieces and having went through five surgeries, over several years, I found Dr McCormick. I was in excruciating pain daily! I couldn't walk or stand for long periods of time. Dr McCormick is a professional, explained my options, and performed my last surgery. I am now, for the first time since my injury, pain-free! I do not have a limp, I have my life back! I owe so much to Dr. Jeremy McCormick. He's kind, smart and caring. My only problem with him.....he's a Cubs fan. I'll try and convert him to the Cardinals!
Dr. McCormick is a nice enough doctor. He seems knowledgeable and good at what he does. He does NOT however know how to manage his time. He is constantly, obnoxiously late with no regard for the time you've sat around waiting for him. I've read where others said it was because of surgery, but that's not true because he doesn't see patients on his surgery days! I'm also not a fan of being seen in a group setting. He has his 'appointment' with you in the open casting room where other patients are sitting and able to hear every word he is saying. In a day and age where HIPPA is so important, I'm shocked that this is allowed to still happen.
I highly recommend Dr. McCormick to anyone needing to see a foot or ankle orthopedic surgeon.
Dr. McCormick may be an excellent doctor but...he is buried behind his staff and they are very poor at follow up. I have been put off now for months trying to finalize a simple MRI Rx that he wrote for me. I can't get his nurse to call me back as promised. Even as an existing patient I can't get an appointment to see him again for two months to follow up on my ankle problems. It is extremely frustrating.
After numerous botched foot surgeries, continued pain and swelling for years, Dr. Mccormick fused my big toe joint, and here we are 3 months later. I can walk, jog, wear nice shoes, and am in no pain. He is absolutely the best out there, and knows his stuff.

Saw Dr. McCormick when I recently broke my ankle. My genetic condition makes treating me a little tricky and it’s not a common condition... but Dr. McCormick said he was not as familiar and made sure to consult with other docs on the best treatment for me to ensure I was taken care of. And when I came for my follow up appt, he read up on my condition and brought in several residents so they could learn about this disease from me! Kudos! Next broken bone, which will happen, I’ll be back!
Dr. McCormick really helped my son try to work through a sports induced issue with an accessory navicular bone defect. After trying his initial conservative recommendations we ended up deciding on surgery, which was a complete success. Dr. McCormick was quite accurate in predicting the recovery timeline and ensuring that my son was recuperating properly with therapy. He was is great with the teen population and made sure my son was involved and comfortable with every aspect of the plan of care.

Dr. McCormick is very proactive and attentive. He does a great job of communicating with patients. He takes his time with his patient and makes sure the patient has the information (e.g. clearly lays out options and potential outcomes, gives status updates in layman's terms) and tools (e.g. stretching braces, night braces) necessary to understand the care plan and achieve the best outcomes possible. He is happy to answer any questions. Dr. McCormick has a positive attitude and caring spirit.
Excellent doctor. I had a toe injury that was well beyond 'textbook', and he handled it quickly, professionally and knowledgeably. Great bedside manner, and extrudes confidence, although not in an arrogant way. He knows his stuff, and he is confident in his abilities. The only downside was that, out of four appointments (not including surgery), they were running late twice, once 30 and once 45 minutes. BUT, I was thankful that the reason for lateness was explained (overruns on morning surgeries) to me, and I was told what the delay was (accurately) upfront.
