To be honest Dr.Penkava is a wonderful doctor my son has ADHD, OCD & Anxiety he feels much better on her medication now .she is very nice, very understanding and so patient. She is the most doctor that my son feels much much better on her medication. You can reach the office via messages too or email.very much recommended!!!

This doctor refuses to speak to parents even at their request. She also gets your child addicted to meds then refuses to fill them unless you come in to see her more than the every 3 months she originally tells you are required. It's a money grab because I paid hundreds of dollars.l ateach visit. Her office staff are unprofessional. They hang up on their clients. They also leave for vacations without telling you and you won't have meds for your child and no doctor left as on call. Save yourself some trouble and headache. Get a reputable physician.

Dr. Penkava and her office is a mess! I am not talking about the physical arrangement, but yeah, that could be better organized as well. You can never get through to anyone. A week and a half before my son's medicine finished I began calling her to get a refill, my husband did as well. My calls became more urgent when he finally ran out and began having withdrawal symptoms. Still no response back. I even emailed her with no response. We left on vacation thereafter, and poor kid had severe anxiety the week we were there. I called today (we got back last night-Sunday) and finally got through to a human- not Dr. Penkava. He states he will give the message to Dr. Penkava. My son leaves to Camp CAMP on Sunday for a week. I am hoping he can get his medicine before he leaves. A friend of mine went to see him very professional and it is very good doctor

Impersonal initial visit, cluttered office. I brought my daughter who was diagnosed with ADHD 4 years before here to get homeopathic options for treatment. The dr said she needed to test her again so that’s what we did. The doctor said the test results stated that she did not have ADHD And was a healthy child. I wanted further explanation and a discussion about current symptoms and requested it multiple times with no call back from the doctor. I requested a copy of the test results 2+ times verbally and in writing and I have not received those either. I started this process at the beginning of February before Covid hit and I’m still waiting for the results so I can get my daughter the appropriate care. This is a great place .... I struggled for years until I got this Doctor..... we sat down and went over my issues and she came up with a great plan of action and now I feel 100 times better and I’m doing successful in all aspects of life right now ..... she really Helped me put my life back in order !!!

Worst staff experience ever, no customer service skills. Rude, and most unprofessional doctor ever. Brings their dogs to the office, doesn't greet anyone as they walk in. Dr. Penkava worked with my son for years.. With her assistantance, at 16 years of age he learned to work with and manage his diagnosis without medication. We love Dr. Penkava and her team.

Dr. Penkava has at least 30 years experience as a Medical Physician who has continuously gone back to school for the latest in medicine. She prescribes me with my necessary Psych Meds while not being a Pill Pusher. I am not on endless prescriptions that screw up my metabolism. The medicine works. Dr. Penkava used a saliva sample to determine which Vitamins I needed. She prescribes high quality Supplements including the Pure Encapsulations Brand and legal eagle Quicksilver Brand CBD, and I can tell the difference in both mood and stamina when I don’t take them. I feel calm and at easy. Dr. Penkava doesn’t prescribe me dangerous sleeping pills. I can relax at night to go to sleep. Not only does she practice conventional Western Medicine, but she also has training in Holistic Medicine which is pretty difficult to find in one Doctor. I sent email and called and no one has called me back and it has been weeks. I wanted to see if they even take my insurance, my doctor recommended this place but if I didn't even get a call back then I feel my child isn't important to them. Going to find another place....it doesn't take much to call a person back.

Dr. Penkava is always very helpful for my children needs she always is able to help and listen. Also she have a huge variety of knowledge in different disciplines. And tons of alternative treatment and therapies for help our children

I was fortunate enough to be able to go to Dr. Penkava's office today and find healing! Her whole office radiates warmth and genuine compassion, Her team is 5 stars all around! If I could give them more I would! Very kid friendly!

Dr. Penkaba was paid by my insurance for my son’s developmental test. After 8 months we have not received the diagnosis report. We have called and gone to the office over 12 times, but we always get the same answer...they are not done yet. How can we report this to the board?

I gave 1 star because you have to in order to write a review. I was very disappointed with my experience at Dr. Penkava's office. As a parent just starting on a journey to seek help for your child, you'll have many questions. I feel communication every step of the way is very important. 1st visit they say will take half a day with all the testing. It was like pulling teeth to get more detailed info on what kind of testing. As the took my son back, I was treated with irritation for asking questions. The doctor said she was big on the blood type diet. She did a test to find my sons blood type. At the end of the visit, she gives me a little booklet on the diet for his blood type. Oh and by the way, the blood test and book cost extra. Good thing to know before doing the test! I was then told the following Friday his DNA results would be in and she'll CALL to let me know what medication he should start. For 3 weeks I called and left voicemails. No ever answered or called back. Finally I get a hold of a girl who normally didn't answer the phone. She found out we had to come in to get the results. When she offered me an apt time to accommodate what I needed, she was yelled at with me on the phone. We went in and they wanted to charge a copay. I told them I am not paying a copay for something that could have been said over the phone. They then changed it to a follow up apt to his test results. I told them we already did that on the last visit. Then they changed it to it was a follow up to his supplements. I started feeling like they were making up an excuse to get me to pay. When I expressed my frustrations and their lack of communication over this process, the girl (Dr. Penkava's daughter) was extremely rude. She wouldnt let me complete a sentence and had an attitude. I told her if this is how they communicate and treat their patients, we'll find someone else. She had stopped looking at me at this point while messing with papers, she said okay! I asked for my sons medical records because clearly they dont care if they loose a patient or treating them with respect and care. Not someone I want treating my child. Dr. Penkava was nice but seriously needs to work with her office staff on answering/returning calls, communication and professionalism. That is the face of her practice and who deals with the patients most, no one should ever be treated the way we were! I gave 1 star because you have to in order to write a review. dr penkava has been a excellent doctor for me in the past 11 years ive been with her. and i like to say shes the best you got right now everyone should REALLY CHOOSE HER when it comes to adhd and child behavior help she is the ONE!

Horrible Dr. Wanted to just give out meds. Not helpful and it took over 6 months to get the report from her visit. i had to find out what the diagnoses from the visit from the insurance billing lady because the Dr. said she wasnt sure everything she was asked a question during the appointment.
