Man! I wish I had read the earlier reviews before scheduling my appointment. Apparently this is a pattern of rogue low level employees. It was so ridiculous it reminded me of the Soup Nazi on the Seinfeld sitcom. I drove from Riverside all the way to Beverly Hills for a 4:45pm MRI. Not my preferred time of day. Of course I got stuck in traffic so I called to let them know I might be 10 mins late. Dolce said I’d have to reschedule. I told her I was only a few minutes away and had driven several hours from Riverside. Dolce didn’t care. I thought, “Wow! Horrible customer service! But the manager will correct this.” NO!!! Dolce said the MRI technician said my appointment was canceled and the Office Manager Byron Rose refused to even speak to me! I told Dolce I would try to make my appointment time. I arrived at 4:55pm 10 minutes late and Dolce said my appointment was canceled and I would have to reschedule. Then, Elgin called my cel phone and left a message that my appointment was canceled
My MRI took place on 7/6 after which I was given a copy of the images. I was assured the notes would be faxed to my physician either that day or the next. As of yesterday morning (7/14) this had not been done. It was not until I called your office yesterday and asked where the notes were, that I was told they had already been faxed. However, your office finally faxed them to my doctor later yesterday afternoon after my call. Both my doctor and I had been waiting almost ten days for that information! Not good!
Exceptionally well-run office, pleasant and competent support and technical staff, close coordination with referring physicians.
Unlike my previous visit in 2013, this follow up visit for an MRI AFTER surgery was marked by two mistakes: 1. The Technician who administered the MRI told me that he was going to do an MRI with CONTRAST. I told him I was allergic to contrast. When I resisted and said I do not think those are your prescriptions, he insisted, "Come with me it says in BIG LETTERS IN BLACK AND WHITE, with CONTRAST." I went into his office with him and he showed me the paper and in BIG BLACK AND WHITE LETTERS IT SAID, "WIHTOUT CONTRAST." When I told him he has to READ correctly and that mistakes like the one he was about to make could prove UNHEALTHY for me, he insisted that he would have read that before he administered the MRI. I DO NOT BELIEVE HIM: I therefore have to report him to you, Dr. Mink, and you should follow up with a reprimand. I don't like the "attitude" nor the unprofessional preparation that technician did in the few minutes before meeting me and getting me ready for my procedure. 2. When i asked for a hard disc copy of my test -- your front desk said your system was down and they did not know when it would be up again. I asked "LETTI" to call me when the system is up again, and instead of wasting my time with a return visit, why not messenger the disc to my home. She said your office could not do that, but they would be happy to messenger it to Dr. Bae's office. 3. I don't trust that would be done so asked Letti to call me when the disc was ready for pick up. It is now a full hour after I have returned home and no call. Please let me know that you got this message. And that you will take steps to remedy both situations.
