Dr. Jesus Angel Lago

Dr. Lago is professional and friendly, and gets to the point. He can be a bit rushed but with the amount of patients he has it’s understandable.

Extremely rude and dismissive. Told me my diagnosis (of 15 years) was wrong based on one question with no follow up on my history or symptoms. Does not seem kind or interested in finding solutions to help patients. I told him I wasn’t sure my medication was working and he said to just wait it out for a few months and then maybe we can increase the dosage. Did not discuss or suggest any alternative medications or courses of action. Would not recommend if you have another option.

He is a horrible Dr. that will shove pills down your throat, and is grandiose and dangerous in his behavior towards patients. He does not listen to you and will threaten you, to do what he wants you to do. I was too afraid to ever be in a room with him alone again. Awful psychiatrist. So many mistakes and an uncaring attitude. Caused so much unecessary pain. Should not be a doctor.

Incompetent! Does not care about the well being of his patients. He’s unreliable! I had a severe situation with my sons meds, he gave me the run around cancelled appointments, and lied to me and my sons aftercare worker several times...DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL!

He spent the entire session on reading things and leaving comments on the social media! I was complaining to him about being tired and sleepy all the times. At the end, he said so you want some medication to go to sleep?!! Moreover, I was on a high dosage of med that wasn't helping me much. Although, I was a new patient, and he did not ask anything about how I was doing on my med, he said that he wouldn't make any changes to it. He would also make childlike voices which is highly unprofessional!

Dr. Jesus Lago did not know nearly enough about diagnosis when I saw him. Nealry destroyed my life with his completely incompetent/inaccurate diagnosis. Fortunately there are more skilled psychiatrists who can diagnose and prescribe correctly. they are, however, few and far between tragically. Had I not gotten a second opinion after seeing him--things could have been far worse.
