Dr. Kaouk robotically performed my father’s cancer removal surgery using a state of the art technique he developed. We have spent many appointments with Dr. Kaouk and were never once disappointed. He was very upfront and honest, very personable and relatable. He answer all of our questions and his bedside manner was way beyond expected. We never felt “short changed” or jipped during our experience with Dr. Kaouk. We are eternally greatful for this wonderful person and doctor as my father is now cured of cancer. We owe him more than words can express and will continue to recommend Dr. Kaouk and the Cleveland Clinic to all of our friends and family! He just performed my husbands bladder surgery on Friday with the new robot. I have never had a doctor call after surgery to see how his patient is doing himself. He come in before we left the Cleveland Clinic just to shake my husbands hand. A true blessing for a Dr. We need more just like him!

IMO very low budget, bad history of negative patient experiences, and seems to be a bully. Not someone I feel should be entrusted with a license to practice medicine.

Dr Kaouk and his staff are extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend this physician or Cleveland Clinic to anyone. Please read independent reviews not the hype from Cleveland Clinic. The care is sub standard at best. My father was denied treatment at this facility. But that turned out to be a good thing. He is thriving after seeking local treatment in Dayton, Ohio (autoimmune therapy injections at Kettering Hospital) When we visited Cleveland Clinic last fall, they said there was no hope and he would only live another 3-6 months. I have been seeing Dr Kaouk for over a year now. He just performed my prostatectomy on June 6. This man is the best. He explains everything to you and puts your mind at ease. I was nervous before I saw him, after speaking to him I knew he was the right Dr for me. If you need an urologist I highly recommend Dr Jihad H. Kaouk.

Ever since my first appointment with Dr. Kaouk in 2015, he has worked tirelessly to ensure the best possible outcome for treatment of my Renal Cell Carcinoma. He has been dedicated to providing every opportunity available in an effort to keep me from entering dialysis. I researched my prostate cancer treatment options thoroughly before selecting Dr. Kaouk. His reputation amongst his peers is very impressive, to the point that he is a surgeon of choice for many when it comes to their own treatment. The entire experience with Dr. Kaouk, his staff and the Cleveland Clinic was close to flawless. I'm happy to say that my surgery was a complete success with a very fast recovery. It has been almost 2 1/2 years since my surgery and I'm still cancer free. I'm very grateful to Dr. Kaouk and the medical professionals that lead me to him and the Cleveland Clinic.
