Dr. Joann Carson

My two boys had been patients of Dr. Carson for several years. She listened when others wouldn't and was able to diagnose both boys with Autism. I have spent many days in her office for testing, med adjustments etc. and she was always so pleasant and patient with my children as well as myself.

Does not retain any information, do not take notes, nearly impossible to get a hold of her and clacks her dentures when talking with her.

I took my son to her, he was 3 at the time. She ended up testing him in a fairly small room for 2 hours. At the end of the visit she said he's fine in some things and lacking in others. We were going to see her a couple months later. She cancelled our appt. 3 times. We got fed up and never went back. My son is 5 now and we had another appt with her. Got there, waited an hour, asking staff about it. Finally we were leaving when a nurse chased us saying she would see us. We left. Never again!

Excellent, caring and very thorough. She diagnosed my daughter and she was absolutely wonderful. She listened and did not rush us at all. All of the doctors and therapists that reviewed my daughters medical records from Dr. Carson all comment about how thorough she is. She is 100% recommended, and helped my daughter get the help she needed and deserved. I'll never forget her!
