This is the best facility to get all of your skin work done at in Michigan. The staff is an amazing and the owner is awesome. They welcome you with smiles, open arms and love. I love this place and the staff.

Not only do they have my hair growing like crazy, they are very polite people. And very understanding too! In and out very quickly! Never had a bad experience here. Everyone seems fun and funny lol. Dr G always greet me with a smile and tell me how cute i look! Which makes my day! I dont feel ashamed of my alopecia when i go here, like i do in hair salons. Everyone is treated with care and respect. This place is super cool and very friendly environment!

There are so many negative things to say its overwhelming I will first start with the rudest and unprofessional front desk manager (Kimmy). She went over my personal details upon check in while the whole waiting room was listening, She was rude and disrespectful, but I had to get the procedure done so I stayed for it. I decided to get botox between my eyes. I have been getting it for ten years and told her specifically the amount of units needed. She danced around my question when I wanted to confirm the correct amount by saying she goes my CC's which is unheard of this industry. I called after a week and told her that the amount injected was insufficient and she wouldn't make an appointment for 3 weeks after my procedure which I paid full price for,. Her office manager (who was actually great is and the only good thing I have to say cancelled the night before the appointment and rescheduled for the next day. Then she called to cancel the day before at 4pm due to a personal reason. I rescheduled for the next day. That night she called at 2 to tell me she might not be in then called at 4 to tell me the was definitely be in. At 5, she called again and told me her flight was cancelled. I had my assistant verify that no lights coming into DTW that night or the next day were cancelled. That's was it for me and I asked for my patient records which showed she only used half of the amount I told her that I needed and it was listed in units not CC/s like I was told in order to mislead me. I should have never let her do the procedure and went to my plastic surgeon to get it done the right way. Her personality was good and liked her but was totally gaslighted and wouldn't want anybody to have to deal with this again. I will never go back and recommend everybody else find a different dermatologist. She said they did refund the money (still haven't seen it though)I paid after telling them what the consequences would likely be if it wasn't done immediately. Me and my mom both go here. Today was my first visit and my moms second visit. We both feel so welcome here and highly recommend

Update: cyst removal has been botched twice now. I’ll have to get a third appointment with a different derm to get it fixed. Honestly i'm not the type to leave a 1 star review. But in this case i'd count my 1 star experience as accurate and the other 1 star reviews are consistent with my own experience having gone to several appointments and had several prescriptions with Dr. Gammons. When you call, they don't answer (on top of that they're only open 3 days a week). When you leave a voicemail, they don't return it. When I went in they couldn't even tell me if they accepted my insurance. The front desk definitely seemed annoyed I was there. The staff are casual to the point they're a little unprofessional in my opinion and in one case I felt a little insulted as the nurse made comments about how disgusting my back was. I'm there for help, not to be judged. The first procedure was botched and they had to do it again and even then another doctor told me it wasn't stitched up properly, causing it to not close up properly (of course I was charged for those extra visits). After everything was done I've had a lot of issues getting my prescription refilled. The pharmacist has sent the electronic request to renew the prescription and of course they haven't responded, i've called and they don't pick up or respond to voicemails, and now i'm forced to drive down there today to ask them to renew my prescription. Honestly it surprises me people are giving reviews this high for this place because my experience has been consistently bad across the board. If you're looking for a derm please just go somewhere else and save yourself the trouble because you'll be going back and forth with these people just to get basic care that you need. The only reason I keep dealing with these people is because I don't want to go through the trouble of getting my prescription at a new doctor, but when I need to be actually examined or have another procedure done i'll definitely be going elsewhere because I don't trust the work they do here. The young lady working at the front desk today April 27th at 12:40 is very rude. I’m very polite so there is absolutely no reason to be rude. Also, it’s not much of a task to check someone in. The attitude she has doing simple task is enough to drive patients away to another dermatologist office. I did not respond to the rude behavior - I’m not sure if she was waiting to eat lunch so I did not respond to the rude behavior - However, it literally took 10 seconds of her time to help me so this is not acceptable. Dr. Gammons and her team were so welcoming and informative! I am very happy I went here.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Gammons. Both her and her staff are sweet, professional, and caring. The service is superb and I’ve always gotten results after seeing her. I love it here.

Dr. Gamons’s first priority is making money and there are better dermatologists out there to treat your skin needs. They are a scam and I am skeptical of the training Dr. Gammons received based on how she treated my skin needs. Don’t waste your time and money here, go to Karlene Dermatology in Warren instead. Dr. Karlene’s care is superior to any dermatologist in the area.

Dr.Gammons is great! Very knowledgeable,and down to Earth.

I only saw Dr. G. for about a year before moving to Florida. I hope she sees this. I had an ugly spot on my face due to me messing with a pimple over and over. It was the size of a nickel and very pink. Now I can barely see it. Also did that freeze thing on a potential cancer spot on my face. It is very minimal now. I had a "thing" on my wrist for over 25 years following a tattoo 3 or 4" above my wrist around my wrist. Now it is just not as noticeable as it was before. It was a fungus and my insurance didn't cover the expensive cream so she gave me samples. I am so happy my doc referred me to her. Hey Doc G. I am the wheelchair, braids, doo rag that says RIDE WITH GOD. She knows her stuff. I only saw Dr. G. for about a year before moving to Florida. I hope she sees this. I've never been so upset with a doctor. I have been coming here for 2 years now and LOVED everything about this practice - the staff and doctor were fantastic. I've struggled with acne for 5+ years and have seen multiple doctors for it - Dr. Gammons finally answered my prayers and prescribed me accutane which has completely cleared my skin up in just under 1 month. HOWEVER, I was scheduled for my one month follow up and I received a call stating THEY ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING ANY INSURANCE. They had the audacity to call me and ask me to pay $90 for an office visit MID-TREATMENT!!! Is this even legal? Is this malpractice? I am in the middle of treatment and she just cut me off! She did not offer me any other options than to pay her $90 a month just for check ups throughout my course of treatment. I am SO frustrated, as I thought she had answered all my questions and prayers with this new medication. Now, I am forced to find a new doctor within a certain time frame (anyone who is on Accutane knows the seriousness of having monthly check ups within a certain time-frame.) This is so upsetting. From my experience working in the medical field, this is extremely unprofessional and damaging to her reputation as a medical provider. She could have gave us a warning, or offered us something besides dishing out all my money when I have perfectly good insurance and only $20 copay's. Never have I seen such a careless, unprofessional provider. Do not give her your money, take your insurance coverage elsewhere.

Dr. Joanna is the most personable, friendly, thorough dermatologist that I have seen. And I have seen a few others. The staff is great They are polite on the phone, and they make me smile every time I come in. The Center for Physical Med and Rehab is why I am skin cancer-free. Love this doctor, she is very caring.

I went to ER 3 times within last 4 days. She give me high mg pills. my life is on critical condition now please don’t put your self in risk like that.

Don't go to this office if you have a serious problem. I waited and waited for an antibiotic to called into my pharmacy. I called the office as soon as they opened. Finally around 3pm and symptoms worsening I went to urgent care. Received my prescriptions immediately and I am now healing. Don't even go there for a simple scratch or abrasion. I absolutely loved this place...

Absolutely amazing after a year-and-a-half of another dermatologist who did nothing for me she immediately came up with a solution in the first 10 minutes I was there

Dr Gammons has been our Dermatologist for many years. We moved out of the area and still travel over 70 miles to see her. We love her excitement and smiles she shares with her patients and their families. She is very easy to talk with.

I have been using Dr. Gammons for 15 years and every single time I go in there she treats me like I'm the only patient she has that day. Very knowledgeable, very respectful, and we'll go out of her way to make sure you get what you need. Honestly As Good As It Gets

What a great experience! Not only is the office warm and inviting, but the staff is extremely friendly. Dr. Gammons is extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her!
