Joel Richard Garcia

I have been a patient of Dr Garcia since 2011. As a cardiologist he found certain things other doctors missed. As the years progressed, I have become more and more thankful of his meticulous and through care. His bed-side manner is amazing!!. He is a kind, considerate, and compassionate human being. I can always count on Dr Garcia taking his time with me and listening to all my needs. He makes me feel I am the only person in the world when he sits with me.

Dr. García was part of a team that saved my life when I had a cardiac arrest in 2015 & he has been my cardiologist ever since. I trust him because he takes the time to listen, double checks how other issues could impact my heart health and has a really good bedside manner. I have recommended him to friends who give him high marks and I can wholeheartedly recommend him to you.

Dr. Garcia is the absolute best. He’s kind, patient and very knowledgeable. I’d recommend him to anyone. He’s by far the best Cardiologist.

Dr. Garcia is the most helpful doctor that I have ever been to! I have been having a lot of health issues, and Dr. Garcia is the only physician who took my concerns seriously. His care continually goes above and beyond my expectations. He is willing to take the time to listen to all of my concerns and makes sure to look at all aspects of my health as opposed to focusing only on his specialty. I do not feel like just another number to him. He has been able to pinpoint the issues that no other doctor has been able to diagnose. Dr. Joel Garcia Fernandez was highly recommend to me by two respected cardiologists and my brother who is a cardiologist himself for a possible cardiac intervention (stent/atherectomy) due to angina. Dr. Garcia completed a cardiac catheterization and determined that an intervention was not needed based on the cath findings. I was truly impressed by his exceptional knowledge, outstanding skills, personable interaction and prompt scheduling of the services. His support staff at the Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute were also attentive, helpful and courteous. At the follow-up visit after the cath Dr. Garcia recommended a medication that really improved my angina. As a doctor myself, I can vouch for not only his technical expertise as an interventional cardiologist but also his fine clinical knowledge and clinical intuition. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia and his team at Orlando Health. Have been a long time patient of Dr Joel Garcia and love him. However, both my fellow and I have a VERY DIFFICULT AND FRUSTRATING TIME getting through to anyone on the phone. It's not unusual to spend hours in a given week trying to reach somebody....a nurse, an office manager, a triage person. Terribly unacceptable problem with the staff. It’s been a blessing for me to have him as my cardiologist. He has been taking care of me for years. I lost my insurance and when I got my new insurance the first thing I checked is if he was in the network and he accepted my insurance and sure enough he does. Thank you lord for Dr Joel García.

Dr Garcia stepped up and took care of my spouses problem. He is totally awesome.

Dr. Garcia listens very well, is always kind and since 2008 has taken excellent care of my heart. I have 5 stents and because he listens when I have pain and symptoms I have never had a heart attack. I have, and will continue to recommend him to friends and relatives.
