Dr. BAKER IS THE BEST!

Dr. Baker is an outstanding physician the who listens. Is patient and understanding. He diagnosed a very serious problem with my hip that resulted in the need for revision surgery and saved it from further damage. His patient reviews reflect his caring, thoroughness and ability to compassionately discuss his diagnosis with the patient. Highly recommend him.

It was my lucky day to have been scheduled with Dr. Baker. He is a straight shooter, got right to the point and discussed all my options in great detail. I felt extremely comfortable and trusted his diagnosis. After discussing the treatments available to ne, he brought in Dr. Ong to discuss the surgerical recommendation. I was extremely pleased with the entire staff from registering, x-ray and doctors evaluation. I highly recommend them.

Very efficient yet friendly and informative. Had shoulder pain and received a cortisone shot which was mostly painless due to a freezing spray. The only problem today was a wait time of over an hour due to a new computer system which was just installed. I never had to wait that long before so hopefully this was a one-time glitch.

This was my first time visiting him. I had to wait for 2 hrs. to see the doctor but it seems it was due to some new scheduling system they are moving to. After the initial paperwork with the medical staff, I could see Dr. Baker. He seemed upset with the staff for my long wait time. He promised to write to the management. He is obviously very experienced doctor and he quickly diagnosed my problem and gave me something for instant relief for my pain. I would definitely go back to him

My experience at the Roth Institute was a very pleasant one, the staff was very nice, they made me feel very comfortable and relaxed, and Dr. John Baker was excellent, from the time he enter the examining room to when we all said good by and have a nice day. ( FIVE STARS)

Great doctor ! Exam was thorough and to the point. I felt pain relief immediately and was told to return only if pain returned. Excellent choice!

Dr Baker was compassionate and took the time to explain my MRI findings over the phone when I was unable to make an appointment due to a serious health scare unrelated to my knee injury. When I followed up with him in his office he made sure I was following the right steps towards my knee recovery.

Dr Baker helped me so much. He’s kind, soft spoken and gentle. I had myself convinced I’d need a new hip since I woke with extreme pain a few weeks earlier. It had gotten worse over time and I could hardly walk. I was concerned. With an X-ray it was discovered I only had bursitis. He gave me a shot of cortisone and a simple exercise to do at home and after a few days, I’m feeling great. Thank you Dr Baker!

Dr. Baker took great care of my shoulder today! He had a student from Jefferson following him around and explained in detail my right shoulder tendonitis from a calcium deposit. He gave me a painless cortisone shot and explained my further treatment! He has a great bedside manner!! Hopefully this shot will work along with therapy!

Dr. Baker was wonderful. He gave me as much time as I needed, he was knowledgeable, he answers all questions and gave me terrific advice. On last visit he gave me a shot of Cortizone and tapped my knee with no pain at all. His diagnosis was spot on. I recommend him to everyone.

Dr. John Baker diagnosed my right knee after i knelt on a stone. Month after the initial injection in my knee, Dr Baker ordered MRI and it showed a tear to meniscus. Dr. Baker recommended arthroscopic surgery to address the issue with my knee. Dr. Baker took the time to examine my knee, did the correct procedure to address the condition and followed up with additional exams and treatment. I would recommend Dr. John Baker for his caring demeanor, skillful knowledge and desire to heal people.

DO NOT CHOSE THIS DOCTOR! He is rude and misdiagnosed my husband's shoulder injury. He refused to give pain meds and an MRI. After six months of pain and two rounds of physical therapy another doctor did the surgery. It took three hours to repair due to the damage. Rothman has been notified. they do NOTHING!

The injections in my knee have helped relieve the pain and enable me to participate in normal activities.

Dr. BAKER was excellent and caring. Providing easy to understand instructions. Subsequent shot was delivered with zero pain.

Dr. Baker was excellent in his examination about my left knee problem. He drew a diagram and recommended an MRI. He is very knowledgeable with orthopedic problems and explains what the problem may be. Instead of guessing he wants to wait to read the MRI. He is an asset to the medical society. I would highly recommend Dr. Baker

Dr. Baker was very patient and thoroughly explained why I was having hip pain. I had many questions which he took the time to answer completely. He treated the problem and I felt better almost immediately. I would recommend him highly.

This doctor misdiagnosed my husband. He didn't believe the pain level he had and refused to MRI the area. He's been a doctor for many years and should truly retire! The practice was informed and did nothing! He is still practicing there!

Had a completely torn meniscus in my left knee. Had a consultation with Dr. Baker. Appreciate his honesty in reviewing my MRI and going over my options. Surgical repair is an option but he also went over non-surgical options. He is very open and patient centered.

I'd recommend Dr. Baker highly. He is highly experienced and skilled, friendly and even funny, direct and non-nonsense, and inspires respect and trust.

My first meeting with Dr. Baker was wonderful. He was very patient and clearly explained my issue and possible treatment. I am already feeling better (less than 24 hours after my visit). I would highly recommend him!

The Dr was very professional and explained everything very clearly to me. I am very pleased with him and he spent plenty of time with me. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Baker was very thorough in diagnosing my shoulder pain. He clearly explained what he thought was the problem and prescribed an initial treatment regimen. I felt comfortable with his methods and explanations. The doctor exudes professionalism. I am confidant he will resolve my issues to a satisfactory conclusion.

Dr. John Baker is a very nice and wonderful doctor. If it was not for him, I may not be coming to Rothman Institute.

I saw Dr. Baker this morning for my elbows. He was great to work with, and I could tell he knew what my pain was. I would definitely recommend him.

I am writing this review for my 89 year old mother...Dr Baker was very kind and patient with my mother. He seemed very caring and took the time to explain the procedure and its benefit to her.

I originally saw Dr. Baker on October 4th for knee pain and weakness. I found him very informative and easy to talk to. I, of course, needed to get an MRI which I did and then was able to met with him again today for the follow-up. I again found him very informative and forthright about my situation and my options. I very much feel that I can contact him and get additional follow-up quickly if needed. He was excellent!

Best Dr visit I've had in 40 years!!!

The doctor was very good at all aspects of my care and very detailed with the overall treatment and what I needed to do and not do to healing of my tennis elbow.

It was a pleasure meeting with Dr. Baker today. Both my husband and myself found him to be very easy to talk with and extremely professional.

Very professional and explains in easy to understand terms.

Dr. Baker was very thorough, attentive, knowledgeable and professional. He expedited my care for my knee injury and I was able to get an MRI within the same week of my initial visit with him. He also explained with MRI results in great deal and set me up to meet the surgeon within the week who will be doing my surgery. The Rothman Institute has been a great experience considering what I am going through which makes the process a bit more tolerable. I highly recommend Dr. Baker and his services.

I have been taking my Mom to Dr. John for the past couple years. We think he's great, always hits the mark with the shots to her knees. Dr. John has a warm smile and a gentle manner.
