I have been using Dr. Britton as my Urology doctor for about 4 years. He is professional and a no nonsense kind of guy. I like that. He is quite competent and respected by his peers. He spent a great deal of time and effort on getting the best diagnosis and treatment plan for my prostate cancer.

Dr. John Britton was an important part of a team, that saved my husband's life, ten years ago. My husband was admitted to a Charleston hospital, with high fevers, for totally unknown reasons. Not only did the doctors save him from dying, due to a pierced colon, but Dr. Britton discovered a cancerous kidney, which was removed during the same surgery as 18 inches of colon. There was no need for radiation or chemotherapy due to the quick discovery. Dr. Britton continues to be there for us.

I have been a urology patient of Dr. John Britton?s for many years. During my most recent visits I have noted, with much concern, a significant increase in patient wait times for normally scheduled doctor visits. For example, my last visit was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on February 1, 2016. I was taken to the patient room around 9:20 a.m. and told the doctor would be in soon. At 10:00 a.m., I still had not seen the doctor and received no update relative to my wait status.
