I read another comment about if your a young female he doesn't take you seriously, I experienced that today. Second time to his office, first time was great, he made a very sexist remark along with my younger age, i guess i dont have any brains either. Without even knowing the full situation, he assumed first. I don't want to be visiting the Doctors office ever, I'm not here to waste their time.

Every time I bring up concerns like my high heart rate, unusual pains or discomfort, etc. I feel as though I am brushed off as being a hypochondriac or something by Dr. Cafaro. Upon moving to Milwaukee, I went to the clinic to get my Adderall refilled. This is the doctor they placed me with. I think he is bipolar. After a few months here, and several years of being on the meds, they weren't working anymore. He tried something different. (Instead of XR, he gave me instant). Said give it a few weeks and we'll see what we do from there. Called to tell him they didn't last long enough and said he was done with me and to see a psych. Didn't even give a referral!

After a very brief exam told me that I had Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and said that I could find a video on YouTube to teach me how to treat myself. Told me he would prescribe meds for symptoms and vanished. I don't feel comfortable treating myself by watching a video and would have liked a referral to a specialist to help administer the Epley maneuver, which is what it seams he wanted me to do at home. Was scheduled with him because he had appointments available. Very evident why.

His staff did not look me in the eye. Dr Cafaro disappeared at the end of my appointment with him and his nurse offered me a rushed referral slip with no Dr's name on it. Also, he prescribed me the same birth control I specifically visited him to change.

Insisted that my severe kidney infection was not a severe kidney infection but a result of my weight. I am 20 pounds overweight. And was peeing blood. Also, the same argument caused the untimely death of a friend's mother in 2004 because he would not listen to her.
