Dr. Eggers is the best at explaining the surgery and recovery. He provides via email easy to follow stretches and exercises.

Dr. Eggers, very thorough, informative, listens to me, good advice, relative feedback to all my questions.

Dr. Eggers is a great surgeon and explains clearly. I had my right knee replaced in Sept 2022. I am doing great.

Dr. Eggers did my total knee replacement in 2019. It has been the best thing I ever did and I am eternally grateful to him for his expertise and the that of his fantastic staff! I don't walk, I run! He is the best! Consider yourself fortunate to have him as your Dr. :-)

Had total knee replaced in 2021 and hip replaced in 2022. Great surgeon, no problems with either surgery. Fast recovery and now pain free. Spent plenty of time to make sure I knew what to expect and answered all my questions. Good bedside manner.

Dr eggars is very easy to communicate with and made me feel comfortable during the whole process. I had a left joint replacement. Appx. a year ago and rehab I am happy with the results.

I am very happy with my experience. Dr. Eggers replaced both of my hips and the whole process was very organized and I could easily communicate with his nurse, Carrie, if I had any questions. Dr. Eggers is very knowledgable and I feel fantastic after having the surgery done. Dr. Eggers, Carrie, and all of the staff are excellent and I am very happy I chose Orthopedic Health of Kansas City.

Dr. Eggers is a good doctor both hip done and feel good.

Right knee was totally wore out. Dr Eggers did a terrific job with the replacement. His bedside manner was tops.

I am now 3 years post surgery having had a right hip replacement surgery in June 2019 performed by Dr Eggers at North Kansas City Hospital. I had my 3 year follow-up today and everything has gone extremely well. X-rays looked great. I have had no issues with the hip replacement. I highly recommend Dr Eggers.

Dr. Eggers was the 4th orthopedic surgeon that I saw, but he was the FIRST to take the time to listen to my concerns and lay out a plan of action. He has done both a knee and a hip for me and I won't go to anyone else. He took the time to educate me on what he was doing and why. He and his TEAM are the best. Not one negative thing to say about any of them.

On April 19, 2021 I had my left knee replacement that had lasted 21 years, replaced - they call it a knee revision. I had been pleased for 20+ years with the original replacement and never thought much of the small amount of discomfort I had from the original partial knee replacement. But then I had a total failure of the knee and I went to see Dr. Eggers based on multiple recommendations from friends. The replacement that he did last year has been amazing. My left leg has not felt this good since I was in my 30's. I can do everything I want to do with this leg. Recovery was short... I was back working in two days and I have no restrictions in range of motion or strength. My experience with a hip and knee replacement with Dr. Eggers was so much better than that of a previous knee replacement. The surgeries and all supporting office visits went better than expected and it has improved my quality of life significantly.

Had my hip replaced at the end of September. Previously had continuous pain. The surgery went well and I was up walking immediately and have started into my biking regiment with no pain. Thank you Dr. Eggers.

I had a hip replacement I never knew how much pain I was in..... until it was gone. While I can't, won't, say this will be everyone's experience, I was basically back to normal in about 6 weeks. I experience little no pain after surgery and was doing more and more back to normal almost day by day

I now have had both knees replaced by a fantastic surgeon and his team. I’m up walking over 2 miles a day with my wife and our dog. I’m pretty much back to my normal activities and hobbies. Most of all I am doing these with no pain. Finally!!! Many thanks to a great doctor and his team. I highly recommend Dr. Eggers.

I had total rt knee replacement June 10 2021 and was released from physical therapy the end of August back to work at Ford Motor Company Sept 29th 2021 I'm very pleased with the work Dr. John P Eggers did on my knee . I started coaching 5th grade Football mid August that also helped with my recovery. Having surgery was the best thing I've ever done I'm 51 and wished I could've done it yrs ago!!! I don't walk with a limp I walk normal I can walk upstairs normal and climb a ladder normal I will recommend Dr. Eggers to anyone and my advice is to do what your told!!! Dr.Eggers did total rt knee replacement June 10 2021 my knee was a total mess before my surgery Dr.Eggers released me to full duty at work September 28 2021 I'm 51 and wish I had it done many years ago For this surgery to be successful you must push yourself and do what your told by your Dr and your physical therapist no pain no gain!!!! Three months ago, Dr. Eggers revised a ten-year old partial knee replacement with a totally new knee. I was at a point where I could only use the leg on stairs with great pain and walking on uneven ground was a serious fall risk.. 5 full stars to Doc Eggers and staff. I had knee replacement surgery in May of 2021 and would definitely do it again if the other knee needs it. Very satisfied!

I met Dr. Eggers and staff under rather dire circumstances. My initial replacement were deteriorating and I was on crutches and in a good deal of pain. They worked to get me into surgery as quickly as possible. My first revision ended up being a bit more complicated than planned but turned out fine. The second went the way it was intended. Hip replacement went better than expected. I am back to my old self in less than 6 months. Haven't experience any problems. Will recommend Dr Eggers to perform any surgery, he was very professional and explained everything very thorough.

I rate Dr Eggers 5 stars. I had my total hip replacement surgery in Feb 2020. I was walking with a walker when I was discharged from the hospital and with a cane in one week. After 2 weeks of PT, I was walking without assistance and climbing stairs. Within a month, I was hiking hills with a stick cane. Before surgery I could barely walk and that was with a crutch cane. I was in constant pain 24 hrs a day...even when I was sleeping. On my return visit I told Dr Eggers, and I quote...” before you say anything, I want you to know that you have given me my life back”. I truly mean those words. There is nothing that this 65 year old woman can’t do! I love Dr Eggers. The best orthopedic surgeon with the best bedside manner. Dr. Eggers and staff are Extremely professional and at the same time personable. My surgery went well and I'm moving without pain for the first time in 10 years. I should have done this a decade ago.

Dr Eggers spent less than 5 minutes with me for my appointment in May 2021. He pushed a prescription on me that I insisted I didn't want and he basically said take it and that's it. If I'm not better in 6 weeks, come back. Since he spent so little time with me and didn't seem to listen, why would I come back?

Dr. Eggers handled my hip replacement and was a great doc. Very personable and takes the time to explain everything which is something I like. The procedure went well and right according to his explanations. I developed a lot of confidence in Dr. Eggers and highly recommend him.

I am very grateful for Dr. Eggers! I had a hip replacement surgery on both legs in one year and I feel sooo young! I was always in immense pain and using crutches to walk for 4 years. The surgeries were life changing! From the wonderful hospitality of the staff and hospital to the outstanding job of everyone in the operating room, I am beyond satisfied. I 100% recommend Dr. Eggers to anyone who needs a life changing experience.

Three weeks ago Dr. Eggers did a total hip replacement on my right side and I am so happy! I no longer have the hip joint and bursitis pain I had prior to surgery. I am walking well with no cane or walker. This surgery and recovery has gone better than I could have imagined. This has gone well because of Dr. Eggers. Not only is he an excellent surgeon, but is compassionate and kind. He explained everything and answered my questions every step of the way. Best surgeon ever! I am glad I found Dr. Eggers. He explained the surgeries in detail and was and is concerned about my health and concerns.

After breaking my hip. DR Eggers provided me with tremendous thoughtfulness and info detailing what I needed to know about the operation and all of the follow up afterwards. The Dr. and his staff provided me with a great attitude/fun attitude when I visited his office concerning follow up which really helped me get through the breaking of my hip and his replacing my hip joint.

I would recommend Dr. Eggers highly. He explained the entire surgery in detail and recovery. I've not experienced any issues that were not expected. I followed instructions for therapy and it went smoothly as he explained. My surgery went well!

Dr. Eggers assessed my situation and got right to the root of the problem. in a timely fashion provided orthopedic surgery on my hip which in my opinion was successful. after initial surgery I had no pain and I am still six months later without pain. thank you, Dr. Eggers

Dr. Eggers performed total hip replacement (left side) on November 21, 2018. The posterior incision was only about four inches long, healed quickly with no issues. Arthrits pain was gone immediately. By one week post-surgery I was walking without a walker or cane, and began driving again. My recovery progressed quickly and at three weeks, two days post-surgery I was able to return to my office job. Dr. Eggers is highly skilled; I call him Dr. Wizard and recommend him and DFP Ortho highly.

Dr Eggers works to minimize risk, such as infections. They also help to minimize down time. Highly recommended.

I had both knees replaced by Dr. Eggers and was very happy with the outcome. Dr Eggers takes the time to make sure you understand what he is doing.
