Over 17 years ago, Dr. Fellow started as our primary care physician, and now we see him in orthopedics. From the very first day we saw him, he treated us like a friend with his attitude and concern. I was only early 20's back then and had a lot of undiagnosed health issues. Many doctors decided it was all in my head. Dr. Fellow always took me seriously, and his simple, reasonable lifestyle changes made a HUGE difference. He dosen't just give you meds and send you away. We love Dr. Fellow!
I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Fellow - who failed to detect a ruptured Achilles Tendon and put me through physical therapy for 3 months. I asked for an MRI but he dismissed the suggestion twice. I finally sought a 2nd opinion from an Orthopedic surgeon, who immediately diagnosed a rupture. He even indicated that Dr. Fellow was not an orthopedic surgeon but a family physician ("family sports medicine" - whatever that means) and I could not get clear validation from Scripps Clinic about it either way.
