I have been living with lumbar pain and after the first visit I felt immediate relief. I was finally able to sleep comfortably.

Not very friendly the couple times I came in. Didn’t seem interested.( I feel like it’s because I’m not A middle aged women but that’s just my opinion) couple times I did go years apart hoping it would be better but it wasn’t .

Dr. Gavencak is the best, I highly recommend him.

Amazing! I was brought up that Chiropractors were frauds. BUT in 2016 I literally had a pain in a**! I couldn’t sit for more than 5 minutes. In three visits and one exercise to do at home, I am cured! This year I damaged my IT Band. After an emergency visit and two prescriptions… nothing. Again Dr. G cured me in three visits and one exercise. He made me a believer! I did not have to wait to get an appointment. Office wait time was short. Each time I have been, no one is required to wear a mask. They have their own "mask policy" stating that it is optional, contradicting New York State's policy. These rules are in place for the protection of our community. So it was shocking and sad that a health care official would not take this seriously. The office, itself looks like it doesn't cleaned and vacuuming is clearly overlooked. While the adjustment itself was fine, the experience as a whole was disappointing to say the least. I have been coming to Dr. Gavencak for a while now. I'm a disabled veteran and unable to make it to the VA hospital in Northport for treatment. Dr. Gavencak is the best around. His office isn't huge, but it's extremely cozy, friendly, and clean. His staff are always so helpful and greet you with a welcome. Social distancing is encouraged and all mask rules are followed which is comforting. Even the other patients for the most part are always so friendly and frequently strike up a conversation with each other. I've come to associate Dr. Gavencak's office as the chiropractic office equivalent to cheers bar. Everyone seems to know your name, you feel welcome, but there's no alcohol or pool tables. But seriously. The place is always clean, friendly, and welcoming. On a side note, I saw one 1 star review stating the contrary and I don't understand how 1 person could possibly have that type of experience when everyone has one similar to mine. I went to Dr. John for the first time when I was experiencing acute lower back pain in September. He was kind, compassionate and most helpful, as was his staff. I recommend Dr. John to everyone!!! The office is clean and I felt 100% safe (even during these crazy times).

Wonderful office! After having been to other chiropractors, this was such a pleasant and refreshing experience. Dr Gavencak was friendly, willing to listen, and helped clear up some recurring pain I was having, when other chiropractors could not! His staff is professional and friendly! I have been a patient of Dr John for approximately 14 years. He is most knowledgeable and compassionate, and he has helped my family and I tremendously over the years. I recommend him confidently to anyone in need of care either in extreme pain or just to maintain their health. His office is welcoming, clean, and full of family pictures and fishing memorabilia. Especially during these times, we look for a safe and clean place and his office provides just that. The doctor takes his time to explain things to you and looks at you as whole person.

The BEST. Always helps. Am back to tip top shape in just a few visits. Sometimes one visit us all it takes.

Straightforward chiropractic care. No gimmicks. Very knowledgeable practitioner with great diagnostic skills. Would recommend friends and family.

Never hesitates to see me on an emergency or last minute basis since I have flare ups several times per year. Dr. G. and his staff are consummate professionals and are very sympathetic to my chronic back pain.

Dr Gavencak is an awesome chiropractor. He listens to your issues and gets the job done and there's no long waits in the waiting room to see him. Highly recommend him

Great Chiropractor. My family and I go to him regularly, and he keeps is out of pain.

An outstanding practitioner. While visiting family for the holidays, I experienced a kink in my shoulder blade. Also, my sacroiloum was acting up. Dr. Gavencak made an appointment available to me with immediacy and provided an excellent adjustment at an extremely affordable cost.
