Even though I have Anthem BCBS as primary insurance, because I had medicaid prior to that, they will not even start me as a new patient. It has to be completely off your record. It's pretty pathetic that a Drs office that someone needs for mental health they are turning me away for insurance I'm not even going to use.

Very unprofessional, referral was put in over 30 days ago. Office sent me an email to fill out for new patients, once I completed all the necessary paperwork, I had to contact them numerous time to get things straight and once that was done I was informed that they are not taking new patients. This has been a waste of my time, when I could of got with his PCM for a new referral. These people lie to get you to fill out paperwork just in case someone leaves they have back ups. Dr. Hardy is refusing to see patients in person if they are not vaccinated! One of our patients isn’t vaccinated and cannot get it due to his phobia of needles. He refused to see the patient and asked he find another provider after several years of being in his care. As other providers are not accepting new patients and booked out several months I had asked him to reconsider his decision and was surprisingly told no! He doesn't care about potential side effects from medications he prescribes. I begin to develop a twitch in my fingers/face after medications were prescribed. When my GP asked me to bring them up to him he dismissed them out of hand as not possibly being caused by his medications. Then I hear of tardive dyskinesia and half the medications he put me on are known potential causes. Says I should have been being monitored for involuntary motions all along without having to discuss them, much less being told they aren't a byproduct of his "care".

Not only did he treat my symptoms, but he listened to what I had to say.

I have been a patient since 2004, he has been a God send. He is kind and thoughtful. I highly reccomend him to anyone who might need his services!

Doctor Hardy is an amazing, caring and knowledgeable psychiatrist. I appreciate him and his staff for all the help they provide. He is on time, excellent communicator and I am never rushed or discounted.

When i asked Dr Hardy what he would document re: me he said i didn't understand his job as an Innovage consultant: he would only report my subjective remarks. Upon my reference to SOAP note format, he said i was pissing him off. My PCP then called & told me i was paranoid schizo while the nurse said i would get a decision maker. I moved to New Mexico & now have a consult to get a 2nd opinion which requires a formal complaint. Now , that I'm ready , their dx of paranoid schizo no longer exists so I don't need a 2nd opinion. This is convenient on so many levels.

This Dr documented me as unable to manage my own meds while my BP was 190/124 and Im hysterical , begging my PCPs for *something to bring these numbers down so i don't have a stroke.

Dr. Hardy is the best. I’ve been working with him to get my bipolar stable and he hasn’t given up treating me. He is kind and easy to talk to.

My mother had an appointment made for her by one of this doctors patients, and when my mother called and cancelled the appointment, his other patient was made aware of it and then proceeded to bad mouth the situation with the patient. Lovely. Talk about Doctor patient confidentiality. I know this happened because the patient decided to reach out to me and tell me, before blocking me. Definitely won't be recommending him. He seems to only care about money, and not about the privacy or well being of his patients. THIS MAN LITERALLY ALMOST KILLED WITH THE MEDICATION HE PRESCRIBED. BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICINE FOR HAVING TROUBLE SLEEPING AT NIGHT? FIRST DOSE LANDED ME IN THE HOSPITAL. Any returned phone calls from 'Doctor' Hardy? Not one. I almost left the appointment when he said, and i quote, ''No offense, but the psychotherapy is for rich people to come in and pay their $300 for their 50 minutes. I don't normally see people like you with this type of insurance.'' (I have Medicaid and ensured he would accept it beforehand.) Roll the dice and take the chance if you wish. Myself? Dr. Hardy is my doc. This is a psychiatrist who will listen to you, ask the right questions, and help you fix yourself. It's a bit of a hassle to schedule sometimes because you always get voicemail, but Dr. Hardy is amazing. He sees me and my children and has been a great help with our meds. He doesn't over-medicate, which I have run into a lot with my condition. He's gentle and kind with my children. I feel very safe while I'm there and like I can be honest with him about any changes I may want to make concerning my treatment. I moved here from Arkansas to find help for PTSD. After 7 years of the wrong medications/diagnoses, I truly credit Dr. Hardy with saving my life. I could not function in daily life before he helped me. He is kind and caring, and truly gifted in his profession. I can't recommend him enough.

Dr. Hardy is an awesome man! He really takes the time to understand and listen to what's going on. He has changed my life as well as my husband in a positive way. I am so thankful for John being a part of our lives. His receptionist Julie is always on point with her beautiful smile and wonderful personality! Thank you both!!

Dr. Hardy does his job well, I am satisfied with that. I do have to wait every time I arrive for my appointment at least 30 minutes. His receptionist is always nice and does her job well. Dr. Hardy is easy on the eyes, he's totally hot. (I keep that to myself.)

My experience with Doctor Hardy has been a living hell. He has not compassion or concern other then money from his patients. He is superficial and his only recommendation if you have problems is go to the emergency room. He can not be bother with is patient needs. I would never recommend this man to anyone.
