Excellent surgical repair performed. My shoulder is getting back to normal after Rotator Cuff surgery and bicep tenodesis . Dr Healey with incredible God given skill took a messed up shoulder and made like new again.

I am so pleased with the service that I received from Dr. Healey for my knee replacement. He did a fantastic job and I am now able to walk with ease with no more limping.

Absolutely appalling office visit with Dr. Healey. When I had my appointment, I knew there was the possibility that I was pregnant. I let them know this right away and the assistant was still going to take routine x-rays of my hip area (I obviously refused). Then I had to wait a very long time before Dr. Healey actually came in. My biggest complaint by far is that he kept referring to the potential pregnancy as an “issue.” He used this terminology multiple times. It is wrong, inappropriate & insensitive to refer to any human life as an “issue.” For this reason alone I would avoid Dr. Healey in the future and never refer him. Dr. Healey also seemed very slow in thought and movement. His labored, choppy movements reminded me of someone who may have Parkinson’s. Absolutely appalling office visit with Dr. Healey. When I had my appointment, I knew there was the possibility that I was pregnant. I let them know this right away and the assistant was still going to take routine x-rays of my hip area (I obviously refused). Then I had to wait a very long time before Dr. Healey actually came in. All of the employees were very kind and caring. Dr. Healey was wonderful. I was very anxious and nervous meeting a new Dr but him along with his assistant made me feel comfortable. Very straightforward and explained everything so it was easy to understand.

Dr. Healey was very patient and explained what he saw and interpreted from my X-rays and the best way to proceed. He answered all of my questions and didn't make me feel rushed, he took the time to explain what was the best way to proceed. What steps would be best for my situation. I think he was great initially. However after my surgery is another story. Every question I asked about after surgery the answers I got were, "I don't know" no matter what I asked it was the same response. I was sent home after surgery with saturated dressings. I informed staff I was leaking. I soaked my clothes, car seat on my way home. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR. HEALEY TO ANYONE! I wish I could turn back the clock and gotten a second opinion or had a different surgeon. I am not happy with this office at ALL!!!! While doing the paperwork for surgery, he said, "T here were some other things Ineed to tell you, but I can't remember what they are" got up and walked out of the room. My surgery was extremely painful, he claims he explained that, I told him about the statement he made and not at anytime did he tell me about the pain situation or many other things that were important prior to surgery. Love Dr. Healey he did my right hip labrum tear arthroscopy 2016 when it was River Valley orthopedics...I moved to Georgia and I’m coming back to him for the left hip arthroscopy. He did an amazing job with my right one in 2016. I trust him plus Georgia isn’t as updated with medical technology like Michigan.

Dr. Harley and his team are very dedicated to what they do, he explains everything in detail and answered all my questions. I have had several surgeries on different joints by him and he’s done an outstanding job!

I tore my meniscus at the root and was unable to walk without limping. It was painful and I had lost the ability to do all the things I love. Dr. Healey is a very smart well prepared surgeon with total eye contact answering all my questions before surgery and after. I have a difficult medical condition that doesn't allow me to take the proper medications to help me recover from surgery fast like others and Dr. Healey was all prepared to handle my case regardless.. Dr. Healey is amazing. I had a very difficult hip tendon repair surgery last fall and my experience was traumatic but made so much better by Dr. Healey. He explained everything so that my husband and I could understand, he was very detailed about my rehab process, took as much time as I needed to ask questions and is very kind. Unfortunately I now have the same situation with my other hip and will need surgery again. Only knowing that Dr. Healey will be the surgeon will be enough for me to be able to face this. Dr. Healey did outstanding work in completing my knee replacement. He explained the procedure completely and was an encouragement. I was diligent to complete my rehabilitation faithfully. I umpire fast pitch softball and have full ability to run and position for success.

Final visit following surgery on my right hamstring, the recovery was difficult, as I was originally told. Reattaching and repairing the hamstring was an option that I am very happy I chose. A month of physical therapy and return to my regular cardiac exercise is a goal I wanted to achieve, Dr Healys surgery definitely put me on that path and I’ll be forever grateful to him and his staff.

Dr. Healey is no doubt a good surgeon. But his office staff is the most ineffective group of unprofessional people I've ever dealt with. When a person in serious need after a motorcycle accident, and needs work verification, it took 4 days to get a response, then charged me for the paperwork. Dr. Healey did a great job on my knee replacement. However, every appointment I waited over an hour past my scheduled time before I saw him. No one even checked in on me to let me know he was running extremely late. I have to take time off work for travel and appointment, my time is valuable too

I would give 5 stars, but every appointment and surgery they are running at least 45minutes behind. However, you are expected to be there 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. I don’t get paid for my time off work and feel the office should communicate this so people don’t waste there time coming early when the office is running behind. Also, the front desk staff should communicate this to the patients so they are aware. Dr. Healey is excellent and I am very pleased with the surgery. A long wait, but they seemed to be exceptionally busy. Dr. Healey was professional, explained everything in detail and had great bed side manner. I would recommend him without hesitation.

The office runs very well, verry clean ,staff is knowledgeable & friendly , only waited 2 weeks for appt, waited less than 5 min in waiting room & 10 minutes in back waiting for . Doctor explains things well & paperwork they gave me shows surgery procedure along with pictures. FYI: ....... if you don't have your copays , you have to reschedule. I was told if balance owed (after insurance pays their part) isn't paid by the 2nd statement it goes to collection . if you need a off work slip it costs $25 & 7-10 days before you can get one. (I'm getting old , I can remember when a doctor pulled out his prescription pad & hand wrote off work slips . Dr. Heily has helped me so much. HE IS THE BEST DR I HAVE EVER SEEN!I had to have 2 hip surgeries and 1 shoulder rotar cuff repair so far due to a car accident. He not only fixed me so well that there is almost no pain and I was able to decrease pain meds dramatically!

I just completed my second different corrective joint surgery with Dr Healey. I am entirely satisfied with the results. He gives me a great starting point to take responsibility for my therapy and recovery. This went extremely well with my hip a year ago. My more recent surgery already has my knee feeling 'corrected' and it is ready to be strengthened with as well.

Spent 3 1/2 years with hip pain. Dr Healey found out I had FAI Both hips. When PT and conservative methods were so painful and showed no improvement he was finally able to get my insurance company to let him do surgery and repair them. I finally have my life back!! Still a long recovery process. But feel like I am getting back to normal. Without him and his advocacy to help me insurance would have never let me get help and I would still be suffering today. Now I can play with my grandson.
