What a wonderful man and doctor. Glad I decided to go to him for my surgery coming. I couldn't be more comfortable. Thank you so much Dr. Heavrin.

Dr Heavrin was very nice. He made us feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable about the reasons for our visit. I am happy to say I think I finally found someone who will listen and confident that we will get the help we need. Thank you.

Nice people great doctor. Best around Fremont county. I don't like a lot of people but these guys are great.

My first appointment with Dr John Heavrin, MD as my doctor (Dr Wu) was out of office. He listened and responded with a plan we both agreed upon. Very pleasant. :)

If you want a very experienced and knowledgeable physician and if you want honest answers, Dr. Heavrin is the doctor to see! He's been my GYN since 2019 and he helped me way above and beyond than what my family physician ever did. Dr. Heavrin was the first doctor who took my medical concerns seriously and made a real attempt to resolve the issues. Women's issues are hard, but he doesn't sugar coat anything or say what he thinks you want to hear in order to appease you - and that's what makes him great. That's what I needed. He proved that he cares #1 about my health, what's best for me, and what will keep me healthy all around. It was life changing for me and the only regret I have is not seeing him YEARS earlier! Women's issues and our hormones play a huge part in our overall health and have such a big ripple effect in other areas of our physical health, and our mental/emotional health as well. His treatments improved my overall physical health and mental/emotional health drastically. Also... his nurse Kendra is amazing as well. She's very personable, professional, helpful, and she knows her stuff! I highly recommend Dr. Heavrin! Dr Heavrin very thoroughly explained my options and reviewed/interpreted a dexa scan I brought along as a new patient. He discussed the supplements and prescription medications for my condition and age. I felt he listened to my questions and made sure I was satisfied with his answers.

Dr heavrin was supposed to be out of town and still made sure he would deliver my first baby boy and he was so amazing throughout the whole thing. I'm pregnant with my second son and wish so BADLY I Lived back there in Colorado finding a good doctor in OKC has been almost tradgic I recommend him SO MUCH!!!

Dr. Heavrin is absolutely amazing. He takes the time to listen to your questions and answers them with knowledgeable Insight. He also takes your concerns into consideration and really helps ease your anxiety. He and Kendra make an excellent duo that truly care about their patients!

With limited options in Fremont County, I found myself dealing with the lack of education from this so called doctor. I was wrongfully diagnosed and given medication that did more harm than good. Although, he took the time to do further tests, he refused to look at other possible diagnoses that best suit my medical condition. However, after a second opinion I now realize that my entire time with this doctor was a joke and that my life could’ve been endangered had I not switched to someone else. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. He needs to retire.

I’m surprised at some reviews! I love Dr Heavrin. I have seen him from birth control days to recently delivering my second baby girl. Him and Kendra are amazing.

Was hoping for a good experience here in Canon City to avoid the trips to Pueblo, but the staff was rude, condescending and completely lacking in compassion. Dr. took his cue from his staff and was completely lacking tact or compassion. Needs to spend more time explaining important information and more compassionate when asked questions. Why do people with no people skills become nurses and doctors?

One of the easiest to talk to doctors I've ever met. Bubbly personality. Can't wait for him to deliver our baby girl later this year.

DR. Heavrin is a great doctor, he takes care of his female patients. his staff is very nice the lady are very friendly, if you need help they will take very good care of you. very pleased with that hole office.
