We’ve been seeing Dr. Braverman and she’s been so helpful as we navigate a few complications. She explains things with a lot of empathy and compassion, and also doesn’t throw complicated medical terms our way. All of the extended staff from the front desk to the ultrasound techs have been great as well.

Bad experience, wouldn’t let me and my 13 month old go back with my wife and even kicked us out of the waiting room and made us wander the hallways while we waited - because of Covid…

I had an appointment this past Thursday for my anatomy scan, I was told some unsettling news & that they’d reach out to me Friday about scheduling me an appointment with a cardiologist. The doctors were nice enough & the front desk lady was very sweet. My complaint is how unprofessional they are about getting back to you. Friday came & never received a phone call. This morning, I’ve called twice & first time, left a message, then the second time was told the doctor would call me. That was at 10:50 AM. It’s 2 minutes past closing for this location and never received a call back. Not to mention, just to book with this place, I had to call multiple times to get in without ever receiving a call back from my message I left on their answering machine. As a first time mom of twins & especially after receiving the news we did, you’d think they’d keep their word & help schedule me with a children’s hospital cardiologist like they said. Instead, I’m left feeling like I’m not a priority at this clinic. I think I’ll have to call around tomorrow and just schedule this appointment myself. OMGOSH, its been over 45 years that Dr. Hobbins treated me @ Yale New Haven Hospital. High risk pregnancy patient. I only have high praise and respect for this kind gifted doctor!

Everything was great. The office was very calm and peaceful along with the ultrasound chair being extremely comfy! I felt that the sonographer really went above and beyond for me and I am very thankful! All in all they were very thorough and great at their jobs. Even the flobotomist was awesome and the blood draw was totally painless and quick. Lastly I appreciate them getting me in so quick considering I was so very anxious after my high AfP test results from my normal OB/GYN. Doctor and ultrasound tech was great. Very polite and professional. Although communication isn’t so good. They never call when they say they’re going to and never ever answer the phone.

I've been here for two different ultrasounds so far, with a whole different set of staff each time, and THEY ARE SO LOVELY AND WONDERFUL! Everyone is kind, warm, and helpful, and I highly recommend going here:)

I had an appointment here a few months ago. The front office staff was very rude. The office manager and another girl were actually calling people with their private medical testing results with the front office door wide open! All of the patients in the waiting room heard all of the patients on the phone business loud and clear- including their full names! I work in the medical field, and that is completely improper protocol. So I went to the front office desk and asked them to please close the door when calling patients regarding their medical results because we could hear all of the patients business, and the young girl completely ignored me and later bad mouthed me to the front office manager and they were laughing about it like it was funny. There is nothing funny about violating patient HIPAA laws. They were extremely rude, immature, classless, and unprofessional. I attempted to reach out to their manager Darren later on and he wasn’t anymore professional then they were. I had an appointment here a few months ago. The front office staff was very rude. The Drs and support staff are great! Fast competent and mostly appointments are on time. The billing office is absolutely THE WORST!!! EVER!!!!! They simply could not coordinate primary and secondary insurance policies. 18 months of phone calls to the billing department faxes sent and resent with the EOB for both insurances showing that the bill was paid, the bill landed in collections and all the billing office can say is "we can't do the review in this office". They seems it out for review and can't explain why the review team is rejecting the EOB from the insurance company. Great medical staff and they probably are a great choice if you are paying cash it if you have just one insurance Co. I will not be utilizing their services for my next child. I went to Platte River with my first child and had a great experience however I just called to make an appointment for my second child genetic screening and the staff member I spoke to was incredibly rude on the phone. She was so rude I ended up cancelling the appointment to go to a different Perinatal Center.

I was so, so worried and anxious in the first few weeks of my pregnancy bc I have an autoimmune illness and conceived while sick and still on steroids and other meds. I received an appointment for an ultrasound and consultation the very day after I called to schedule! When I walked in, I felt at ease with the staff, sonographer, and doctor. The office feels like a home, with warm touches here and there like pregnancy teas and comfortable sofas. The staff were so welcoming and sweet, they seemed to be so happy with their jobs and compassionate with their patients. Dr. Nick Behrendt was kind, patient with all my questions, and didn’t judge me as some doctors do Medicaid patients. He was present with me and took each of my fears carefully, weighed out the risks and advantages, and was clear in telling me the evidence based research for each worry and concern. Dr. Behrendt (Nick, he told me to call him) put all my fears to rest, encouraged me (without judgement) to make the changes I must make to give my baby the very best chances, and overall put me at ease in a very gentle and practical way. Having a FIL that is a perinatologist, I know how easy it can be to get fed up with Medicaid patients and lump them into one category (unintelligent, doesn’t care for her baby, burden on society, etc...) and I felt only sincere respect at this office. The sonograoher (Darlene? Karen?), was kind and gentle like a mother. I will be switching my care to their Boulder office bc it’s too far, but I was absolutely pleased with Platte River Perinatal and Dr. Behrendt and highly recommend them ✨ I was so, so worried and anxious in the first few weeks of my pregnancy bc I have an autoimmune illness and conceived while sick and still on steroids and other meds. … More

Dr. Hobbins was a breath of fresh air in my high risk pregnancy. He performed the ultrasound and was a very open and caring doctor.

I'm so impressed with the Dr. and his entire staff. From my first phone call to my visit I was given the best attention and service. The whole office is so knowledgable and truly gives you the best that there is to offer.
