Dr. John C Kollar

Beware! Dr. Kollar was apparently the assistant surgeon for my procedure. He wasn’t an in network doctor for my plan who I never met or hired to be in the operating room. They proceeded to bill me over 2500 dollars for his services even after the insurance agreed to pay them over and above their usual and customary assistant surgery fee. I called all parties involved, thought it was taken care of only to get a collection letter.

I highly recommend Dr. Kollar if someone is in need of a surgeon. I had a surgical procedure by this fine doctor and was very pleased with the way Dr. Kollar corrected my problem. Not only is he a great surgeon but his care and follow ups are excellent. He took all the time I needed to answer all my questions. His office staff is amazing. Dr. Kollar was highly recommended by another doctor to me. I am glad I took his advice.

I met Dr Kollar under emergency circumstances, best thing that could have happened. He is excellent in every sense of the word. He took such good care of me, led me in every right direction, and took into account some of the things I had some control over. I could not have been luckier to have Dr Kollar, truly a great man.

Dr Kollar is the most compassionate doctor I have been to in many, many years. He takes the time to listen to you and explains everything in detail. He did my stomach sleeve and I could not be happier. Any questions before or after surgery he is there to answer them so that you understand, he doesn't talk over your head so you dont understand what the answer is. I would put my life in his hands 100%. Thank you Dr Kollar for being so fantastic it means the world to me.

Dr Kollar explains the procedure in detail & answers all questions. His bedside manners are excellent. What I thought would end up being an open surgery for me because of lots of scar tissue from many previous surgeries, ended up being just a few small incisions. I came home from the hospital & developed a slight fever, called the office & left a message. My call was returned within 2 minutes & I was put at ease. Slight fever normal after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Kollar. :)
