I went to him when I was younger for hip problems, my front thigh muscles kept pulling my femurs out of the ball-and-socket with my pelvis, my painful and caused me to freeze in mid sit or stand position (supporting myself with my arms, if I had no support to take the weight off my hips I had to fall just right as not to caused them to dislodge all the way) until my thigh muscles relaxed enough to reset my hips so I could walk and move again. He helped me out so much. My brother, years before I did, also went to him with torn and twisted cartilage in both knees. (Dirty plays and illegal moves by the coach instructing the players from our high school football team rival. He was the head lineman and the most built and tallest player. From games in the past they knew his knees was getting bad.... so three guys at once hit his knees from both side and the front. They took him out alright.... also cost him full rides and everything. Initial appointment not overly impressed. I walked in with bright pink tape on my left knee which was to help with support. I was asked multiple times which knee was causing me issues, and I confirmed left knee, with pink tape. I asked him if I should remove the tape, he confirmed, then proceeded to examine my RIGHT knee. When I mentioned, it's my left knee (the one I just removed the tape from), he said he didn't see the tape. He would not be me my choice to perform surgery. Perhaps time to retire. Positives, I was able to get an appointment same day, staff extremely friendly & helpful. They immediately called to schedule my MRI appointment.

Dr. McCarroll operated on my knee after a basketball injury. The operation was a complete failure. A second operation by another surgeon was needed to restore my extension and allow me to walk without a limp. Before my second operation, I consulted with an orthopedic surgeon from out of town, who operates on college and professional athletes, and he said it was "sloppy work" and advised me to NOT EVER play basketball, tennis or ski because my knee was likely to be reinjured due to the failed operation. Remarkably, Dr. McCarroll had given me the green light to resume these sports. He also lied about how much of my meniscus he had removed. The second surgeon informed me that most of my meniscus had been removed and NOT 33% per Dr. McCarroll. My operational tape from Dr. Mccarroll was mysteriously recorded over so I was unable to view it. My leg was bruised from my hip to my toes. He butchered my knee and decreased my quality of life. I saw Dr. McCarroll after being referred by my primary physician. I had chronic pain in the back of my left thigh while driving/riding in the car or sitting on a hard chair. After careful listening and examination, he reviewed some possibilities for what it could be. But before trying anything invasive or expensive, he told me to go online and buy a trucker's seat (gel seat). I did that, spending about $35. Long story short: it totally worked and I am now pain free, after years of suffering.

Misdiagnosed my toddler as having 'nothing wrong'. Second opinion, new X-rays were taken, fracture found, in full leg cast. Very angry and disappointed. Not recommended at all

Was great. Once. Time to retire.
