Dr Notaro and his staff are very caring, and thorough. He listens to all your questions and concerns and carefully explains information. I highly recommend BMG.

He was a good listener until some significant concerns arose. He seems to try and get rid of patients with chronic issues. He lacked compassion and empathy. Some doctors are very condescending and more concerned about their image.

Appointment was very prompt (absolutely no waiting), very thorough, and left me very happy to have Dr. Notaro as my personal primary physician.

Dr Notaro is kind, caring, thorough, and knowledgeable. He also responds when needed outside typical office hours. He’s a gem! While some may comment about the wait, I’d much rather have all those qualities in my doctor as opposed to someone who rushes through appointments.

John is a very caring physician who always takes the time to explain any small detail that you have a question about.

Extremely thorough and caring; great listener and doesn't rush you in and out of the examination. Works with you to develop acceptable treatment plans. Very competent as well as likable. Best family Dr. I've ever had...or heard of in this area.

Dr. Notaro is highly experienced at diagnosing complex medical issues and navigating you through the vast, top-ranked medical specialists at BMG. That’s critical. He is an expert problem solver compiling data from multiple sources and his judgment is impeccable. He provides a specific action plan and roadmap for a long healthy life and is responsive 24/7 (but please let’s not burn out our Drs!) for medical questions and concerns. For example, several years ago while in India he responded to and directed my husband on a medical issue (within an hour.) Dr. Notaro is trusted and respected by his peers and his patients. He is also an educator, teaching as he communicates and works with a team to get you the right diagnosis and to provide the next steps/treatment. He is one of the best and we are grateful for his expertise.

I just had my annual physical exam with Dr. Notaro. He patiently reviewed my test results and answered all my questions. I feel so lucky to have such a caring and dedicated doctor. He and his staff at Buffalo Medical Group are the best!

Extremely long wait time on the telephone. If you need a specialist, it can be months before you get an appointment. If you are expecting to see a doctor, most likely you'll see a P.A. Buffalo Medical Group is not about the patient. Some doctors are very condescending. They are more worried about money and their image. Gave 2 stars only because of cleanliness.

I love Dr. Notaro. He is the BEST Dr. I have ever had. He is kind and listens to your problems. He finds the answers to your problems and explains things so a lay person can understand. Never too busy for you!!!!

Love, love, love Dr. Notaro. During a tough time with a couple issues, he was calm and compassionate and handled the issues holistically. He was exactly what I needed at a difficult moment and has been responsive, helpful and positive since. I really can't get across just how important his help was.
